Haha I went to see the new documentary about marketing from the same director as supersize me. It's called Pom Wonderful the greatest movie ever sold. During the movie he gets sponsors to basically fund his movie. And the official car of the movie is MINI! they had a lot of nice ones throughout the movie. Especially the clubman ralley edition! Such a sick car! Pretty good movie though if anyone hasnt seen it id check it out. Pretty interesting

Haha ya I was so locked in the entire movie just to see the minis haha.

 

I saw what I believe was an excerpt, or trailer, which amused the heck out of me. In the slice that caught my eye pretty much all of the folks that the producer "pitched" would back right out once they realized that the focus would be on them specifically - their marketing approach.

That Mini took that on just tickles me to death! I shall have to seek out the finished film.

Looking forward to this one. I find marketing and product placement pretty interesting in general, MINI as the car of choice is just a bonus.
