During our ill-fated run(see earlier posts) we had around 25 Mini's. YES! the looks on people's faces as we all roll by is positively priceless. A bicyclist saw us and i swear he couldn't shut his mouth. He was simply astonished. I think that is one of the best things about doing these runs!

Thanks for the closeups. That looks pretty good. Was it an easy install?

yes, my brother helped. Little soapy water sprayed on the back let us move it a bit, then just squeezed out the air bubbles and cleaned up the drips. Much easier then doing a set of bonnet stripes.

morphix - graphics look great. They'd be the perfect thing to cover up the scratches I made installing my scissor cradle.

And thanks for the close-ups - am I seeing brown in there? I wouldn't mind since I think it would look awesome on a PW.

Just one last question - did you take the trim pieces off to do it?

Am I Obsessed???

Today, I left my CM at the train station as I didn't want to drive her to Center City Philadelphia. Well the birds did a number on her. I drove her to the nearest walmart and bought some detailer spray and cleaned her. I couldn't even wait to get her home for fear of what my wife and neighbors would think. I have never been like this. I wonder if I am going to kiss my car goodnight at somepoint in time.

I think the brown if from the HDR effect from my iPhone 4, looks more gray in the sun light. We did not take off the trim, using the wet method gives you a bit of wiggle room to get them on just right.

Thanks for clearing that up. I think I still like them and I'm getting real bored with my plain old silver ones. Thanks for posting.

Ha! You've caught the fever, and there is NO cure!! Just go with it. At the C3M picnic I won some Griot's detailing spray and wax and use it in between hand washings to keep her shiny and happy. Great stuff...also bought lots of micro fiber cloths which are very safe to use on the finish.

After a bad day I am happy that THIS is the car I climb into to bring me home. A very good friend from work taken to the hospital with chest pains. Left work early to deliver some very important legal papers to her (POA, living trust, etc, serious stuff). Keeping her overnight as precaution. Still not sure if it was serious...Giggles got me home safely with me just a bit shaky...sigh...

Took me downtown to the Wharf Rat in Fells Point, had a great time, come out, theres another S parked right beside, he knows the deal.
Yesterday, gettin gas, VDub pulls in, "hey nice Cooper" he shouts, "whatcha done to her?" "Is it lowered?"
Then got a head nod from a modified 370Z owner, guys know what the head nod is. Pretty cool overall.

Thanks, Julie, I think she's going to be ok. We believe work stress brought on the symptoms. Now to get her to get follow up care!
