I keep missing these, I'm in NY this weekend. Didn't bring Blue, came with the Bug instead.
I'll try to make it out to the next one.

Hope so!! What is your name on C3M? We only had 9 Mini"s and Charles very nice Lotus. It was a great run, Celia mapped out a terrific route, and Jack entertained us on the two-ways..lol..he cracks me up!

Got us home safely in horrible torrential rain in the dark. Got to really put my new Conti's to the test. With my RF's if I hit a puddle, my Mini would be abruptly slowed down considerably. couldn't see the ponding water tonight, so when I hit one, the Conti's barely noticed. These tires make my ride soooo much safer and way more comfortable!! So glad I went from the OEM 16" rf.'s to the 17" DWS!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend

Tire rack advised me very well

Tire Rack is phenomenal. I have listened to them for over 20 years and they have never been wrong. So far my runflat all seasons have been better than the eight cars I have owned previously Glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. Conti's are great tires.

She allowed me to re-install her factory roof racks. The first time they were installed, I swore I'd never take them off. With no online guides and an incredibly vague manual, it took me almost 3 hours! After much deliberation, they were removed for the summer, saving me 4 mpg!

Now that ski season is upon us, I decided to put them back on. And it only took me about 30 minutes!

Peed a drop of oil on my garage floor. So the mysterious leak is not fixed. just one drop of oil, only on warm days after a good drive.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and most likely tomorrow (Sunday) I went motoring through the tristate area (NY, PA, NJ) and my MINI just kept giving me smiles!!!

On a side note...based upon how my spirited driving goes I will likely have a new set of tires much sooner than any other vehicle I have ever owned!

Friday I had off, so me and Giggles motored Md. And Pa. Back roads. Ended up at Koony's Barn, a wonderful country gift shop in an old barn and found some awesome Xmas gifts. Then we motored some more. The weather was spectacular!!!! Only saw one other Mini, but got a wave back.

Today, Sterling turned many heads while I was pothole dodging (driving in Chicago) because I got him washed at what I consider the best car wash I've tried. Simon's Shine Shop. I should have taken a photo! Maybe tomorrow.

Brought the Christmas tree home. The seller asked if I wanted it in the back I said on the roof racks would be fine.

Nothing wrong with using the boot for hauling things like Christmas Trees!

Got me home safely on the back roads on a dark, rainy night, then convinced me to attend our very first MOTD! Reservations made...Giggles is very persuasive....
