She took us to Woodbury Commons near Harriman, NY, after my GPS had me going by way of California, to meet up with my first girlfriend and her husband after not seeing her for 33 years. What a fun day. Betty now needs a bath. She will get it today. Have to keep her happy.

 

Molly took us to the PDX MINI Club 2012 Planning Meeting and Elections Meeting where...are you ready for this...I was elected PDX MINI Club President - 2012!!

 

Easy, VC took my wife and I shopping out in the "OC" in the rain, serenaded us with AltNation on Sirius and generally brought smiles to our faces the whole time.

 

My MINI took me three laps around The Ridge Motorsports Park today!

As we shuttle back and forth between hospitals and home, wrangling with my young son's cancer/chemo, I'm pretty sure tootin' around in my MINI is what is keeping my sanity intact. Seriously.

 

Misty took us to the beach at High Island yesterday. What a blast.

That road looks wicked...we'll see if we can get up there, may not be this year as our Events Calendar already has 27 event ideas, just have to set them in a Calendar once the new Board has been seated. I'll definitely see if there is an interest in trying to add one more event, can't hurt...right??!!

She's taking me on my 5th Mini run with my Central Maryland Mini Motorist Club. Meeting up at a Park, then motoring the twisties 8in the Catoctin Mountains to Catoctin Mt. Orchard to buy the BEST pies on earth, then on to Cunningham Falls State Park to have a pie picnic

 

As a special needs parent who also spends days, weeks, months at a time in hospitals it's the little joys that keep us going. I built my Mini just for my son and the happiness it brings us all is therapeutic. Laughter is the best medicine. You, your son, and family are in our thoughts and prayers. Happy tooting my friend.
