What did your MINI do for YOU today?
I made a deal with my wife. She loves to travel which since my accident was put on hold. Once we get the MINI, we will be travelling to places that she has never been. MD is less than an hour from us so getting there is a breeze. We love meeting people and doing our version of diners, driveins and dives. BTW cars have been my life from the time I was eight. Used to drive my late dad up the wall. At 12 I was teaching adults how to do things like changing a spare tire the simple tasks.
Sorry to hear about your accident. Sounds like all is well now. Sounds like you are a good person to know!! Can't wait to meet you, your wife and your MINI!! Pm me when you are ready for a meet up!! Im sure you know some great places to meet in Pa.
Other than bring a huge smile to my face? Well, it got a great comment out of a co-worker. Here is the story. I work part time at a Lowe's a half mile from my house and to get to the parking lot, I go down a slight hill and turn left into the lot. Well, the other morning we were waiting for the delivery truck driver to back the truck to the loading dock and my co-worker looks at me and says "Every morning when I see you zip down that hill and swerve into the lot, I expect to see 2 more MINI's right behind you."

I smiled from ear to ear. It truly made my day that day. Still makes me laugh when I think about it.

She brought me to a job interview in down-town Amsterdam today. 7 feet wide roads along canals: no problem! Sure I've almost killed about 12 US citizens, but what the he'll are they doing on bicycles in Amsterdam anyway?
Actually wish we had two, but as I drive a company car, I won't be allowed to modify it too much. And currently I drive a VW EOS, until the end of the End of the month that is. After that.. Well let's find a new job first.

3297121[/URL]]Today...was really yesterday, but I will make the exception. Yesterday I had a big pickup truck tailgating me so that is when I downshift to 5th and motor away from them

Since my mini is an European built mini (imported from Spain), it has a cool rear fog light switch which in fact turns a set of really bright RED lights just above the real stop lights (Illegal in the States, I know, but not in Mexico), so I flipped the switch and voila!!! the tailgater had to slow down to "avoid" me, thinking I was applying the brakes... (yes, I know it wasn't safe, but it was him who was driving unsafe and he had the fast-lane anyways).
But I digress, today (as every working day) my mini brought me safe and on time to the office, always with a grin on my face! :D
Cheers!

Thanks
Really need to meet more motorists around my area, so I can stop cruising with civic hatches lol. Everymorning waking up to my baby "stella", is always making me look at driving in a complete different way. You get so close with your car that you understand it more through constant driving, from the looks to the sounds and smell. It went from something fun to pure addiction. So my mini hasn't just kept me happy, but its litterally changed my lifestyle.

$240 is my new high score of items in Becca!

and all of that, along with the spirited bike riders, and only used one chicklet/candycorn!
