what is r-145-a (or whatever)???
Thanks

Sorry, I should have looked up the real name instead of trying to remember.
Here's a picture of the R-134a coolant that I used.

It's very easy to do, so long as you have the one with a gage & read the instructions. It took me about 15minutes to charge the system & it's been running great & cold, even in this heat.

Speaking of heat.

I park in a covered garage & when I got to Butters yesterday after work, this is what I see when I start him up......103 In Indiana!?!?!?

She took me on my 2nd rally with C3M (Central Maryland Mini Motorists)!! Met up in Hanover, Md., wended our way towards Annapolis. Stopped at the beautiful WWII Memorial near the Naval Acadamy, then picnicked and grilled at gorgeous Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis!!

Thanks, Giggles, for opening up a whole new, wonderful world to me

2010 HzB Clubgirl, fairly loaded, MUCH loved

Those are the days I long for. I have to wait til my CM arrives. Would feel out of place driving my extremely uncomfortable Saturn Aura at MINI Rallys Then we have to decide which club(s) to join. .

Second that Giggles, that was a great run, the only thing that spoiled it was the steel blast-furnace type heat we had. You arent supposed to sweat that much just standing there. And it sure was fun watching "Stickers" drool all over that little Target Cars 2 gift set. Man, did she want that bad.

Agree, fun, but brutal. Can't believe how much water I drank and never had to use the nasty Porta Potty

I have that Cars 2 set. ordered it from Target. I will sell it to her for one MILLION dollars

My next run is Boots n Banjos. Should be a fun one, but aren't they all?

Our MINI (yet to be named) is sitting in the OL under the category of On order. Anxiously awaiting the next step. Because of the color, (LC) it might take a bit longer to build. We are thinking of naming it smiley or (not to plagerize giggles) smilesmcmini. We'll see.

LOVE it!! I was going to name her "Kate" for the new princess, but I found that every timeI either looked at a pic of her or dat and drove in her, I just giggled and grinned from ear to ear(known as the permagrin on this site).

Smilesmcmini is AWESOME!! So excited for you!! You need to drive her to meet us, when she arrives. We could meet halfway in PA!! Lets break bread and all praise the MINI!!! ...Im 100% serious!

Saved my life/paint job

On the turnpike this morning around exit 7 going northbound there was a tire assambily sitting in the road.
Thanks to the mini I was able to swerve out of the way and back with just some protesting out of the tires

Yup, the tight responsiveness of this little car has handily gotten me out of potentially bad situations, thqt my former vehicle(grand cherokee) could not have!

Because she knows how much I LOVE my MINI, my friend and partner in our jewelry creating business, designed and made me a "I (heart) My Mini" bracelet. Done with beautiful Swarovski crystals, sterling clasp and sweet silver round letter beads. From the observer it looks like a very pretty silver and crystal bracelet, but I know what it signifies. She made it in my Clubman's colors!! She combined tiny black hematite beads (my roof color) with denim crystals (horizon blue!). If interested I can email a pic of it. She can fashion it in almost any color!! It is soooooo cute!!

She managed to stay dry inside after I left the sunroof popped during an evening thunderstorm. So I guess technically that was something she did for me yesterday.
