I have a plain Pepper White Mini Cooper. I want my first mod to be bonnet stripes. Black looks good, but i was thinking of a brown or coffee color. The dealer charges 300 dollars for the black ones. My husband says he can do it. Are their places or websites that sell colored stripes? Has anybody seen a different color on a PW mini?

 

I think a dark brown might look cool your roof is white as well? There's a bunch if places that sells stripes. It all depends on what kind you want... Use the search bar. I'm pretty sure there is a show me your stripes thread that has a lot of cool ideas! Vinyl styles or aesthtetic creations would be a good place to check out for some stipe options. Or even if you called up a local sign shop they could possibly make you some. But I would try those first and see what you think.

There was one of the special editions that had caramel colored stripes with chocolate pinstripes I think. I recall that I really loved the look and always thought about doing a stripe change on my '06 PW.

OK, update. I remember now it was the Mayfair Edition. But it was a chocolate brown car with toffee stripes and white pinstripes. I like my idea better .
I think caramel or toffee stripes with a chocolate spaced pinstripe would look great (meaning a gap between the stripe and the pinstripe showing the Pepper white through.

Wow lots of options. Thanks everybody. And BoCron. I think we saw that MAyfair Edition yesterday. Thats the look we are going for. It's subtle.My roof is the same as the body color as minimike noted so we don;t have to go with black.We willpost pics soon. Right now it's a blank canvas so not much to see, although we could put up the "before pictures"up. THANKS again
