Thank you Mackpupp1...its good to be here, and it will be much much better when I have her in my hands
Would it be to much to ask for you to loan out your Red Roof badge to a soon to be fellow redhead
The badges are on the first page, and there is even one in you color!!! All you need to do is save a copy to your files, and then upload it in your settings. We can't wait to see her!
Thanks! You could wrap your roof (Vinyl) any graphic guy can do it for you. It wouldn't cost to much I bet.
The cost of painting seems to range broadly depending on where in the country you live. I went for paint, but the vinyl is less money. The paint, however, provides a truer Chili Red. Good luck on whatever you choose, it is well worth the smiles you'll find planted on your face whenever you approach your MINI in a parking lot or wherever you find yourself.
Red roof here too! Just picked up my coupe last night. The red roof is the icing on this cake!
Wow, what a great looking Coupe, Cred! Do you have a name for your new MINI? I had the badges made before the Coupe came out, so please be patient as I request for Coupe versions to be made for the group. We'll have yours in no time; meanwhile, please feel free to use one of the hatch badges while you are waiting. Gorgeous ride!!!!

Not to mention red vinyl isn't very UV stable and will turn pink over time.
The EG/CR coupe looks pretty cool - especially with those grey wheels. Would love to see it in person.
Was playing around with the recently added colour scene modes on my camera via firmware update. This one was the red mode... I think Photoshop or some other app would do a better job, but for the 2 seconds it took me to shoot it, not too bad. I think if I could choose "high-contrast black and white" AND the "red scene" mode that it would look better:
walk0080, that is so funny you did that. When I saw your pictures yesterday I thought of the same thing and was going to do that ...I'm dead serious.
I think that looks really good. Thanks for posting

My 2013 PW/CR should be out of production Sept 5th!
Good luck on your JCW. What body did you get? Your fun is now, just beginning, as time now will pass so slowly. Can't believe that there are still some us that build our cars, rather than take them off the lot. To me, this is half the fun of it. Take care and enjoy.
