I'm on my second one. I sold my '06 MC in April and bought an '09 MCS "leftover" off the dealer's lot. If I have the same good experience with this one, I'll definitely be looking at a Roadster or Coupe in 4-5 years.

This is my second Mini. I had a 1963 Morris Mini Minor that was much modified, I wish I still had it!

We got the wife's in Feb. 2009. It is a 2006 gray Cabrio S, w/6 spd auto. We enjoyed it so well, we traded the 2001 Miata for a 2006 Chili Red S w/ 6 spd manual, and aero package (mine). I guess you could say that her's is "Classy", while mine is "Sassy". Or something to that affect. We plan on keeping them for a while. More than likely, we'll be fine tuning them to our tastes.

Numbers 3 & 4 are in the garage now. MINI owners in general are nice folks but most don't share the driver's seat very well...thus the multi-MINI families. It's just easier and a lot more fun!!!

My wife and I each have a 2005 Electric Blue/White S that we bought new before we ever met. Yes, we were made for each other!

We may add a Roadster when they come out in 2012.

 

Original owner since 2002. I hope to get 42 more years out of my MINI. It will definitely need more than one restoration since it will never be a garage queen.

Early photos of my car are rumored to exist in print, but are lost in the void of unorganized family photos. The earliest known photograph dates from around February, 2005.



Still had the stock Goodyear RSA on it then. The car is essentially unchanged on the outside.

That is my Sister's red justa there. Family owned since 2002, in her name for 6 years, and now with her in New York.

 

I bought my 1st MINI back in Jan. 28, 2010. Its a 2003 Indi Blue and my sister just bought a 2005 Electric Blue MINI Cooper S like 3 weeks ago and she loves it!

So we have 2 MC's in the family. I am hoping to keep mine for long time!
