So I drive my Mustang today

Hit my head getting in. Steering feels like an 18 wheeler. I keep waiting for the turn signal lever to return. The change lane lever does not work. What in the wide wide world of sports is going on.
The Mini has screwed me up......I miss driving it today. Almost 1000miles. The grin carries on.

Yesterday I took a neighbor to the airport and we used his 1990 Jeep cherokee. I had to drive it back to his place. OMG.. I am so spoiled from the MINI. I hated just about everything about that jeep.

Now that we're a 2-MINI house, I don't know if I'll ever be able to drive anything else again.

Just my mini and the wife's Jeep Liberty CRD in our family. The Liberty isn't too bad to drive since I have done suspension work, GDE tune and a few other mods that make the intercooled turbo diesel come to life. Still have to slow down on the curves and corners though....

The nearly 400 whp made it a little fun though, right?

I love the Stang. Had it since 02. Did a lot to it. Mileage is 30,000 and the condition is excellent.....but I'm lovin the Mini. The handling, the ride, the seats, it's geared really well....I have yet to really hit the gas pedal. The Mini is more than a ride. A lot of fun to drive.

My neighbor leant me his old Ford pickup so I could drop some stuff at the dump. Wow that was scary. The bench seat was sliding back and forth depending on whether I was going uphill or down. It took nearly half an hour to get to 50mhp and cornering non-existant. Still I was happy for the loaner but glad to be back in the MINI

Well for a couple of years I drove a city bus, and have driven 18 wheelers, things like that make a Ford Expedition seem small, I'm now happy with a MINI, don't want any thing bigger.

I love the MINI. Last week I drove the pick-up and loaded trailer and had to constantly remind myself that I had to start slowing down about 10 times further back than with the MINI.

Mustangs (and most other American cars) are just big, ill-handling pigs with horsepower. US manufacturers still haven't gotten it right after decades of trying. Sad.

Sorry...not arguing but the Mustang happens to be an excellent choice. My 02 is the best car mechanically I ever owned. Not the fastest car around but it's a blast to own & drive. For a straight line run...it goes.
Anyway I got punished today for driving it instead of the Coop. The frkn A/C crapped out on one of the hottest & humid days of the year. Felt great to get back into the Scrolled Turbo Mini

Some of the better handling American cars borrow platforms from Holden and Opel, so I guess you're right.

Every day I drive my Mini to work, park it and get into my Freightliner for about 11 hours. I cherish my drive to and from work!

It's great for the owner but I don't think Liberty's came with diesels. Not only is it a diesel but it's intercooled AND turbo'd.

Diesel is the way to go. I just sent an H2 to CA to have a 630HP, 960 FTLB Torque diesel put in it.

Yep, a bunch of the jeep products are available with diesel engines. Most of the reviews have been overwhelmingly negative. It's slow as **** and gets utterly horrid mileage for a diesel.

It is a good thing....Jeep needs to start making vehicles like this again. It gets 20-22 in town and 28+ on the highway running 75 mph. It also has a 5000 lb. towing capability. And yes it also is 4 wheel drive.

Got one in the garage Mark..... . Yes it is intercooled and has the turbo plus I have a performance tune on it from Green Diesel Engineering and a few other performance parts....195+ hp and 340+ ft.lb of torque(with the mild tune). There are 2 other tunes available for even better power and torque.

Yea the older diesels they built did suck. I was surprised when I found out about these. Only made them 2 years. Believe me I did hours of research on the Liberty before I bought it. I have had the Liberty for almost a year now and abolutely love it. It would be hard to find a replacement for it just like it would be hrad to find a replacement for the mini. Gotta love the power, torque and fuel mileage (20-22 in town, 28+ at 75 mph on the highway).
