What we, most of us, do find crazy, is that cops called the news station beforehand to film the damn thing, and then called the child service (according to the article)

And are we saying it's an unjustifiable move on cops side and they should be punished?
No.

What we are saying is, that was a ***** move and it wasn't cool.

Read the article more carefully and peoples responses before you shouting STFU and chiming in.
I read it all very carefully, and it's all a lot of poor poor me whining. So the cops made a production out of it. Guess what, if the speed limit had been observed, the cops would have had egg on THEIR faces, not yours.

Try this!

Here's an idea:

For the next event, plan the route for all the major roads and freeways in the area, and during the run, make sure you have your cars using EVERY lane going the speed limit (or less, since it is the LIMIT, not the required maximum). Nobody is to ever leave a gap of any kind or move over to let someone else go by, and see what happens.

Sounds like a great idea, and you should have someone film the whole thing, oh and don't forget to e-mail the OPP. I'm sure they will get pulled over for something, but at least there will be evidence.
