MINI also just NLA the Alcantara wheel and the leather one for the gen1 MINI has been NLA for a while.

Its sad to see them go , that's why I tell people if we have it, buy it. Because next year it might be NLA.
I would take heed on what he's saying here and get these parts while you still can folks ! I remember hearing an actual news story about 3-4 years ago regarding JCW parts for 1st gen and how soon they will be unavailable, the very next year MINI put all the JCW and Aero kits/wheels on huge clearance sale.....

Applied stripes

Added white stripes to my Pepper White yesterday. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Washed clay barred, waxed and removed stripes to add MC40 decals. It's just an homage, not an original MC40.

Decided to keep my JCW! Was going to sell it and had a buyer with money in hand but just couldn't do it when it came down to letting it go.
So I registered for AMVIV (A MINI Vacation in Vegas), made an appointment with Bytetroniks to put a tune on it. Washed and waxed her and finished having the boot stripes put on (Thank you Static Motorsports). Put the FlexPods back in for the trip to Vegas.

Burley, your MINI is looking good 👍

Took #211 to Lime Rock Park and spent the day running with NASA for a HPDE (High Performance Driving Event), What a great day.

I give it a BIG Thumbs Up.

This weekend.... a tourist sat on Pulga's bonnet, dented it deeply, apologized, and gave me cash to have it fixed.

Ouch! At least he/she was nice enough to stick around and pay for the damage.

Added painted GP front upper grille to finish off the body kit. Vinyl wrapped 3 center grille slats with gloss black vinyl, installed a vintage M7 scoop in gloss black, added a silver GP scoop decal, topped with set of new/old stock
pure silver side mirror covers that were take offs in 2002...

Thanks! I found period correct decals online for a decent price, unlike the overpriced ones that read "40th anniversary". Mine look the same as the original. Just need some door numbers, shift ****, and rubber mats. Might ditch the chrome mirror caps as well.

The rubber mats were on clearance from MINI about 3-4 yrs ago. They came as a set of 4. I'd check with ECS on those as well as the shift ****.

I agree that looks great, they should have made an MC40 convertible version.

Not much left but we are the only people in the world now that has some Mc40 valve caps left. And Can get the shift ****.

Get them before they are gone.

Welcome, they killed allot of the mc40 stuff. Sad day that day. I am also seeing some of the early rare R56 stuff and MINI 2007-2011 era swag/t-shirts going nla, but they have a smaller newer line out with gray and pastel colors.

Thanks for the help! I may have to go eBay for the mats.. I'll check out ECS for the shift ****.

On a side note, isn't it odd that MC40s were sold with JCW badged dashes? None were JCW, so it seems out of place.

Dropped off my R56 yesterday due to the FRM being a bastard. No windows, interior lights, turn signals or headlight control. Just received a call that its covered under warranty! WAHOO! So I had them change out the brake fluid since I had allotted some cash for the repair. Should be able to pick it up tonight.

The carbon dash was a JCW accessory so all carbon dashes had the logo. JCW's didn't come with any interior items as part of the JCW package.

Finally took the winter shoes off of my car. With the odd weather we've had this spring, I was waiting for the last minute to remove those studded tires. Wish I didn't put the ice scraper away too, as I needed it this morning!
