Also, was looking in my rear-view while at a traffic light and saw the guy behind me smile, and take a pic of my MINI, flash and all! Must be my relocated "actual size" sticker

I didnt so much modify the mini as it was modded by the weather. The ice we had broke the piece off the wiper on the back for the washer to spray and now I have a nipple coming right off the nut that holds the wiper arm on. I had a cop tailgating me at 3 am heading home from work and my window was dirty so when i got to the light and had to wait for green i hit the rear washer and soaked the cruiser behind me. My bad!

Last night i tinted my windows, 35 in front 20 in back
I applied my white and red alternating "actual size" stickers on each rear side windows,
And installed my "UNDERCOMPENSATING" windshield decal.

I bought it from VIVID RACING. The diffuser is made by 3D Design in Japan. The carbon fiber one ( like I have) runs about $1300. If you can wait about a month, I am going to be selling mine. I have a new body kit and CF diffusers coming from DuelL AG (Japan), so I will no longer have use for mine.

I was just on their website thanks to google and I saw your car's picture on the product page!

Drop me a PM when you're ready to sell it. I'm not sure what my financial situation is going to look like around that time, but if I can float the cash I'd for sure take it off your hands.

Will do. I had to call VIVID RACING this morning to try and get a new paper template for the installation. You have to trim some of the black lower trim from the bumper. I am going to try and save my trim (pre-cut) and give it to who ever buys the diffuser.

Another one who loves that diffuser! Also where did you get the tail lights?

This weekend I installed the Wet Okole seat covers I picked up from NAM member jefros. Absolute perfect condition. Exactly what I've wanted since I bought my MINI two years ago with the addition of lumbar, heat and gun totes.

Couldn't be happier with the fit and feel!

Installed this Belkin TuneDok iPod/iPhone cupholder insert. $1.88 from Parts Express, and it positions my iPhone 4S well for quick GPS reference. All controls are still easily accesible (and it doesn't turn on the seat heaters).

FINALLY got around to putting on my Thule Criterium bike racks. They've been sitting on the garage floor for at least 6 months....
AND while I was at it I used satin black spray paint to black out the OEM roof rack.
The Criterium racks RULE.
I used to have the Yakima FrontLoader and there is NO comparison.
The Thule's are easier to put my bikes on/into.
And they do not hit my spoiler, which on my previous Mini, was damaged by using the Yakima racks.
Stoked.

I just received a call from FEDEX. Looks like my new CraftSquare TCA/-F/W carbon fiber mirrors (from Japan) will be here tomorrow instead of Thursday. Hopefully, my stuff from DuelL AG (Japan) will ship soon. Tackleberry will be getting a major facelift.

I went with 20% all the way around.

It's one thing if we're talking a standard style coupe (like my friend's Cobalt SS/TC where the back windshield and tiny little rear side-facing windows are darker than the fronts, but we've got some big honkin' rear windows and two different tint percentages show a contrast that I, personally, just don't like the look of.

I don't have any tint on my MINI, but I like how it looks, especially on a dark colored car.

I have a pickup truck that came with tinted windows. It looked pretty good, but I felt like I couldn't see out of it. I removed all the tint, it really opened up the interior.

I had a Black on Black Camaro Z28 when I was younger, the heat inside was unbearable in the summer time. Since then, I've had all my vehicles windows tinted. I bought my MCS, also black on black, in June and had it tinted shortly after. I find it helps keep the interior temps down a ton.

Can't wait to see that all finished. You're gonna need a thread for that.

+1

Swapped my side marker bulbs for PIAA Xtreme whites. They're crisp but not as bright as my clears that were in there.

Only problem is I broke off the two front tabs on the scuttle on the passenger side. I knew I should have waited for warmer weather. Duct tape for now - can't see it at all with the bonnet closed, but it's time to move on.

Funny you commented because thats exactly why I said maybe I should of gone with 20% in the back. Saw the pics you posted on this page.

Yeah I had 5% in the back in Mazdaspeed 3 and it was just really hard to see out of at night when backing up or anything. And not sure if you are aware but 20% on the front is not legal in the great state of Illinois. You can have whatever you want on the back...but when it comes to the front 2 windows... cant be any less than 35%. I'm just not trying to have any problems with the po po.
