Lightinsight

This was actually in another thread, but I thought I'd throw it out there again in its own thing.

If you, like me, have ever experienced taco-neck trying to see traffic lights when they're up high and you're the first one in line, LightInSight is definitely worth a look. It's a Fresnel lens that attaches to the top of the windshield to see anything just above the windshield line without being a contortionist.

I just slapped it on, and it works exactly as advertised.

Check it out at lightinsight.com.

Question...Did you wet the smooth side or the ribbed side?? I have one, but I think the cold weather is hampering the application.

For those already thinking it...Get Your Mind out of the Gutter!!

when I installed ours I wet the smooth side to get the bubbles out. Looks fine from inside with out wetting it first but you see the bubbles on the outside. I used glass cleaner vs water thinking it would dry faster.

I washed the glass with glass cleaner first, then wet the smooth side and pressed it on.

I recently got one and it works great, in Philly I really needed it...or a chiropractor for my neck. I don't really have a need for it in CA, cause if I can't see lights on top I can see the lights at the corners.
