Sounds really sweet. I almost went with that color scheme, but had the piano black and carbon punch leather in my previous MCS and I also really liked that, so I stayed with that:-) Post pics when you get it!

 

I definitely will. I'm so excited. I do like the piano black and punch leather - I was debating on which color scheme to go with and that was one of my options.

Just bought my 2010 Horizon Blue Mini Cooper a week ago today! Horizon Blue / White roof, white stripes on the bonnet, Leatherette, Premium, Convenience ... and lots & lots of LOVE! I just adore it! It was already at the dealership (BMW/Mini of The Woodlands, north of Houston - fantastic!) - but it was exactly just like the one I had built the day before online. It was like it was meant to be!

No mods yet - it is pretty perfect as it is!

As soon as I figure out how to post photos here, I'll be sure to add some!

I picked him up on Saturday after years of drooling over MINIs.
I'm waiting for my MA to find some black Union Jack mirror caps and thinking about also adding black sport stripes.

How do I determine the exact color of blue my Mini has?

Is one of the alpha/numeric's in the VIN the factory color?

 

I think, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong, that it will say exactly which color it is under the bonnet. When you pop the bonnet of my 2009 MC and my dad's 2005 MCS it says the color on one of the metal parts of the engine bay. There is a thread with all of the colors listed somewhere. Good luck!
