Does anyone's MINI have a theme song? I'm talking about one song that fits your MINI, not someone else's or MINIs in general. This song brings out the best in your MINI, whatever you feel that is.

My MINI's theme song would have to be the Gorillaz song entitled 19-2000 (soulchild Remix)

This upbeat melody brings out Mayumi's effervescent personality and care-free exuberance for aimless motoring. I guess the song represents my personification of my MINI.


If anyone has a good one, post a youtube clip so we can all hear it.

Mostly, I don't share that with anyone outside of NAM.

I'm with Bandit - not exactly the theme song, but the MINI digs the song as much as I do, and drives better during:

If I Never See Your Face Again -- Maroon 5 back to back with the same song by Maroon 5, featuring Rhianna.

 

For some reason I LOVE to listen to the song " I Like the Way You Move" by the Bodyrockers...it slowly builds and it just makes me want to have the windows down, hair down, sunroof open...just makes me want to get my groove on!

 

I'd go with 'Go Speed Racer Go' that was covered by Sponge years ago... I found it on a cartoon remix CD that my wife got! Hilarious and it's got a good driving beat.

 

How about these two: Fanfare For The Common Man, Arron Copland; Mars, from the Planets, Holst.

 

Yea I admit, once I saw it on that movie it stuck...

James prefers "damn it feels good to be a gangsta". I loaded my ipod at the dealership and drove off the lot listening to it. I would post it, but it has some questionable language. It does however feel good to be said gangsta.

 

Speaking of feeling like a gangsta and though I sometimes feel like the guy from Office Space, I can't help but feel that Mr. Blue gets a little pumped up when F* the Police by N.W.A. comes on. The Rage Against The Machine version works too.

When my daughters are in the car, he'll settle for "Because I'm Awesome" by the Dollyrots.
