Yuck!

Drove through a combination bug storm & frog stampede last night; what a mess.

You're going to need some very warm and very soapy water along with about 25 ft-lbs of elbow grease, Doug.

GoooooooooooooooooooooooD LUCK !

Those smooshed bugs ARE gross. But at least Doug got a free appetizer out of it.

Didn't anyone ever tell the silly buggers not to play in the fast lane?

To get rid of the bugs ...soak a thick towel in warm water and lay it over them for about 15 or 20 minutes. They should wipe right off after that. Works for me.

I don't think I wanna know.

I believe I'll go to a spray-it-yourself car wash before I wash it at home this evening, just to blast the sun-dried bits loose first.

You could make an OCDetailer horror movie with that theme....

I'm pretty confident ChiliPepperJet won't sleep tonight... he acts all brave and funny now... but just wait til the lights go out...

I just showed Doug's pic to my 8 year old... he said "WHOA! NIIIIICE!!!" and high-fived me... wish I was 8 again... instead of just acting that way most of the time...

just be glad it wasn't your wife who rolled over a fresh deer carcass and then ask you two days later to remove the deer jerky from the power steering fan and Miltek exhaust. There was even grass dried on the bumper from the exploding stomach.

good thing this sort of thing doesn't bother me being a formally trained archaeologist has it's advantages (you tend to eat your lunch in the pit with the bones )

Gotta blame my wife for this too.
She called me last night at 10:00 from a small town thirty miles away, with a flat tire on her minivan.

I couldn't take the M Roadster out with bugs about, so the MINI got the duty (it was a little dirty already).

After observing all those frogs doing their lemming impersonation, I think I made the right choice.

The next morning I'm washing Gromit and see something sticking out of the lower grille. I reach down and pull it out-thinking it's grass or some other part of a plant-and out comes the remains (aka corpse) of a frog.

CR&PW&JB should be familiar with the area I'm referring to just north of Blytheville, AR. He should be glad he's no longer stationed there. It would create major problems with his OCD.
