N:good roads in S.E. Ohio/West Virginia
At the end of this summer I'm going on a road trip to Gallipolis, Ohio. I need to know of some good roads to hit while I'm in the area. I hear there are some good ones in West Virginia. I'd prefer the roads with little traffic, you never know when someone else might cross the center line on the next curve.
note: since I live in Nebraska, pretty much any road east of the mississippi is considered a "good road" to me.
I've already printed out pages from google maps and taped them together to make my own super map. I will also study the area in more detail as my trip nears. Might also convince my girlfriend to join me; I wouldn't want to get too crazy out there on those roads - she will keep me in check.
I appreciate any recommendations.

I'm actually going to go through Missouri; Kansas City to St. Louis. I'd love to avoid the interstate. Let me know any roads I can't miss.

Not sure how crazy you want to get, but go for the ones that follow the rivers. I never came back to Ohio from the west in the MINI, so I was always doing the "beeline" thing. But most of the smaller roads in southern/SE-ern OH are pretty twisty.
No, beeline as in: what's the shortest distance. i was driving my 4x4 truck, mind...
