Does anyone know if it is required in the state of MD to have front and back license plates??

Thanks.

+1. It's a ticketable offense with a fine if you don't. Don't ask me how I know

That was one of the little things I liked when I moved to NC from MD. I hate the look of a front plate. Now they are considering making it required here as well....oh, well, if that's the worst thing I have to endure from the DMV.....

I thought front licenses were not required in MD. Oh well. BTW, did you know there is a DCMM forum here? https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...splay.php?f=85

Its a $50 fine but not a moving violation. I believe they wont pull you over for just not having the plate but if they get you on something else and notice they will add it to your bill. Ive been running plateless for two years now. They really only want you to have front plates so they can shoot better radar off you.

Meh... I consider the front plate an opportunity to show off my personalized tags. And in the case of my JB MCSC, the tag is the name of my MINI, so it's just another name tag.
