bumper replaced but maybe not right

Our 06 was rearended a few weeks ago. Luckily the damage was confined to the rear bumper.
Local bmw shop just finished replacing/painting and a couple of things don't seem right.
First when I genly push on the lower bumper it flexes very easily. I don't remember that. Could there be supports missing?
Also the alumimum plate covering the underside of the exhaust seems to have the passenger's side edge bent up. bmw guy says they are made like that. i don't think so but I don't have another to comare it too
I think the exhaust may be slightly off center now as well.
Anyone help with some pics or opinions.

I got into an accident back in november and they replaced my bumper with a new one. And I noticed the same thing couple weeks ago, if u pull the blower part of the bumper a bit, it flexes easily. I was wondering if this is normal as well...

there is a lower center bolt that should keep things in place (near the exhaust)

is that bolt in place

don't see any bolt. here are some pics showing the possible bent corner of tray, missing bolt, heat shield(?) material bent back possibly and the alignment of the bumper from the side.
if anyone sees something wrong pls let me know so i can detail it to the shop for replacement.
it also looks like the exhaust tips are tilting down slightly.

Does not look like the best job ...
The rear bumper has a lower ...often overlooked bolt almost in the middle (more to the pass side
If you crawl under and look up you will see it
the bracket comes off of the inner crush portion.
Just to the right of "1"

My rear bumper has be semi loose for about 4 years. The gap between the bumper fender and the quarter panel fender is also widening. I don't know if it will actually fall off though. Did I mention it rattles a lot?

You know, I have been wondering for a while if my bumper has problems as well. I bought my car used, and later found while washing it that the bumper had been repaired/re-painted/dent removal from underneath tail lamp (not the best bondo and sanding job) and I have noticed that my bumper also moves extremely easily.

It also seems like the black trim on either side of the bumper is sort of loose, and can actually be pushed back in a little. Has anybody else noticed something like this?

Nice to see others notice this sort of thing!

COR BLMY ,
Tks for the illustration. That is what I needed to see. Already have a call into the body shop.
Glad I posted this as it seems others may have some issues with their bumper area and trim.

That heat shield deforms really easily though, I move mine to get at the hitch. That you can just bend back... your fit at the rear wheel arch is OK, but could maybe be a little tighter. The arch isn't real consistent...
