Requesting pics of MINIs w/Mud Flaps

Not many photos around of people's MINIs with mud flaps. I drive a long set of dirty country roads daily and would like to put these on my car for added protection, but I'd like to see some pictures first of how they look. Anyone have them added to your car? Also, did you put them on yourself?

I don't have a picture of them, but I've seen 2 MINI's with them & to my eye they looked good.

The install looks very easy.

I bought the mud flaps! I ordered them when I bought the car.

Dealer installed mine prior to delivery. I like the way they look and how well the keep stuff away from the side of the car. They keep the sills nice and clean too. The back of the car isn't as dirty as my friends car without them as well.

Thank you both for your responses and picks (and two gorgeous cars!). I went ahead and placed an order today for them and will try to put them on myself. If I can't, I have a 'family mechanic' who lives right down the road who can. I'm very impressed with the fact that they're actually not very noticeable. I was worried they'd stick down a little more than they apparently do. I can't say that'd be an aesthetic distraction though! And with as much constant roadwork as it being done on my daily commute, I think they'll be a life (pain) saver.

Well yesterday we installed mud flaps on Nicodemus. They look pretty sweet, and we didn't even need to remove the wheels. All thanks to my partner's ingenuity. I'll post pics to this thread as soon as the weather clears a bit. Good thing we got them on yesterday! Now I'll be able to really test them against the wet road grime!

Actually, I wouldn't put such a thing on my car. It was a Photoshop job I did to add some levity to another thread.

I like how your jack stands match your car.

I love the look of rear mudflaps.

I got them once for my r53 and returned them prior to installation. However , I always regret returning them once I see them on a mini.

Robin,
I am glad the art work on the flaps was a joke. I have been impressed with your contributions and your beautiful, gorgeous, splendid shift ***** and I experienced some real dissonance seeing that photo.

Finally took some pics of Nic with his flaps on. Of course it was nearly dark when we took these, but we had just finished washing him and attaching his name via badgeyourride.com.

And since I mentioned in, here's his name. I'm really liking these things.

Very nice, thanks to all who contributed to this thread! I was debating getting the front/rear mudflaps to keep my gorgeous PW/B MINI clean but was worried what they may do to aesthetics. Seeing the pics here have definitely put those worries to rest. Heck, the flaps may make my MINI look even better! I'll be getting them installed next month.

R50 with F&R Mudflaps

I put these on. Nothing too tough, just took a little bit if you follow the manual. I think the 2nd Gen mudflaps are quite a bit different.

The outmotoring versions are different for the rear.

Bizarre that Minimania has rears for 02-05 Coopers and 07 Coopers and S' but not for the 05-06 S.
