Well, it doesn't featuring the word "motoring" but it does have some motoring in it. And, its done by the Boss in a sweet old school T-bird.

Absolutely brilliant! Thanks.

Here's one for you and to anyone who enjoyed listening to the Kleptones.

A bit camp and stereotypical, but when I'm just cruising around town, trying to ignore the idiots on the road, The Kinks seems to do the trick. Not usually big on oldies, but it seems... fitting.

I am very big metal fan. I would like to think that i listen to a little of everything but metal has so many genres and subgenres it is almost comical. Two songs that stand out 3 me:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_M_KIOQLkbk
-Prog Metal by Warmen

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3J7iThdiXQ0
-Melodic Death metal by Children of Bodom

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywxm6zLEjFY
-Extreme Power metal by Dragonforce

If you were to look at me and ask yourself what kind of music does this kid listen to, metal probably wont be the first that comes to your head. But seriously, that is about all you will find on my MP3 player.

Zip

Are you referring to the one by Limp Bizkit (sp)?

Some songs will come on from mix cds I've made that make me think (or say to the passenger) "This is a PERFECT driving song."

Some of those are as follows'

Vehicle -Ides of March
Working On The Highway -Bruce Springsteen
Born To Run -Bruce Springsteen
Love And Happiness - Al Green (this is a good "driving at night" song I think)
Back In Your Head -Teegan & Sara (great summer driving song!)
I Turned Into A Martian - The Misfits (fast driving song!)
Singing In The Rain - Mint Royale (another good night driving song)
My Heart Is Beating Fast - Mint Royale
Don't Sweat The Technique - Eric B. And Rakim
Get Yourself Up -KRS ONE
Excitable Boy - Warren Zevon (the version from the Learning to Flinch LP!)
Lawyers, Guns, And Money -Warren Zevon
The Devil Went Down to Georgia - Charlie Daniels Band
I've Been Everywhere - Johnny Cash

A few select Aphex Twin songs from the Richard D. James album and pretty much anything from the Thievery Corporations album "The Outernational Sound", or Nightmares on Wax.

I love music. Gosh darn it!

Fantastic music source

Music lovers visit www.pandora.com. Prepare to be amazed.

I am awed by the reality that someone not only conceived of this idea and had the ingenuity to execute it, but turned it loose for everyone to use and made it FREE! What an awesomely generous act...

House music, jungle, drum'n'bass ... the goodness of electronic dance ... On the satellite, XM 80: The Move ... can't imagine anything else working on the twisties. I grew up on Lionel Hampton, Chet Baker, Cannonball Adderly, John Coltrane, etc.... but I got caught up in the real groove in 1983 (the early days of the genre) when I caught a track on a college radio station and never looked back.

With the memories of spending far too many days sorting through 100's of vinyl LPs in NYC, Hartford, and Boston hole-in-the-wall record shops in the 80s and 90s still fresh in my mind, I sometimes look at my IPod and its 400+ dance mixes and have to pinch myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming. I never imagined that there would be an almost infinite supply of such awesome music available online.

My favorite mix source: http://www.dnbradio.com/

I don't have my MINI yet, so I can't have favorite motoring music.
But I'm really looking forward to driving it home listening to Social Distortion...

I like to rock.

Say Anything, Fallout Boy (Take This to Your Grave, not the new stuff so much, although it is good) and anything with some strong guitar sound and a solid beat to keep me attacking the curves!

In fact, Say Anything's new album is my current thing... awesomeness I tell you!
