Ick! I'm stuck behind the wheel of a Neon : (

I took my MINI in for it's pdr work this weekend. They gave me a neon to drive. I'm already experiencing withdrawals.

I called my dad at 1am this morning to check on it because I had to leave it with him at his swim club and he's taking it into the shop tuesday. I wanted to make sure he drove my MINI home, instead of his car, because I was very worried about it being parked outside. I was running scenarios through my head, obsessing over whether he would have locked the doors.

I think I may be in for a really long week.....

Cheer up. Just allow extra time after each neon-driving segment to take a shower. You'll be fine .

I know the feeling! I had to take my dad's MINI in for service and they gave me a hyundai sonata to drive home....I felt like a little old lady driving it! I immediately came home, got in my MINI and drove it around the block so driving would be fun for me again. I parked the sonata and said...I am so natta driving that!

You guys boasting about getting MINIs when you take your car in for work are most likely taking your car to the dealership.

For those who need body work done for an insurance claim don't get that luxary. You take whatever piece of crap the rental agency/insurance company give you. Me... last year I got a POS PT Cruiser. Puke.

When my old car was out being stolen a few years ago, I got a Chevy Impala courtesy of State Farm/Enterprise. I thought it was hilarious.

A couple of years ago I had my car in the bodyshop for what was supposed to be a couple weeks. It turned out to be a month. I was stuck in a Neon the whole time. It literally started making me depressed after a while.

You have my symmpathy.

Last business trip I drove my mini to the airport, arrived in houston, and got behind the wheel of a Suburban. MAN those things are huge.

We feel your pain, but all in all you're still driving, right? Be somewhat thankful!

I've only had my MINI for a few weeks, and I have been waiting and waiting to get to wave at a fellow mini driver. Yesterday, I finally see one when I'm not waiting at a light and they're not flying past me, and I'm in a NEON. Blech. I honked and waved anyways, and endured the strange looks from the PW mini. I see three more today. (MINIs are actually very rare around here)

Iv'e determined it's a conspiracy to drive me crazy with envy.

Do you have a MINI Messaging Kit? If you had that, at least you could hold it up at them and, if they recognize it, at least they wouldn't give you strange looks.

You could actually use one of the blanks to write in "Help a MINIless MINI Owner" or something like that.

Yep. When my car was in for body work recently, the rental company gave me a Chevy Aveo. The car should have had the 'diet Coke' logo on its side.
