Has Anyone Else Had Trouble With Minspeed??

About a month ago, I ordered a stubby antenna and bumper protector from them. They never arrived. When I e-mailed them, I got an e-mail back from them, "signed" by the owner, stating the items had been delivered. I e-mailed back that they are referring to another item, not the antenna and protector. Then, the owner e-mailed back that the e-mail was sent by an assistant who did not check. He said he was mailing the items out, with an invoice. This was 2 weeks ago. Today, I sent another e-mail stating I still have not received the items. I got an e-mail back, stating the EXACT same thing the "assistant" e-mailed me the first time, claiming the items were delivered May 19, which is more than 2 weeks before they were resent! I am getting really frustrated.

I haven't dealt with them. Have you tried to call their number? It seems lately there has been an increase in dissatisfied customers here on NAM and one thing in common is email is being used as the sole source of conversation.

After me department head at work requested more email usage and less conversation. Better documentation they say. I have seen things that were once easily completed become a email trail mess.

I hope you get your items soon.

I haven't called and I won't. I believe if a vendor offers an e-mail option on it's site, it should be supported by the vendor. I must say, they have responded to e-mails very quickly. Now, if they supplied their products in the same manner, it would be great.

I've never had issue with Pete and my orders from him have always come in a timely manner. Call him and have him check on your order.

I'll second that. I've dealt with Pete numerous times and always had excellent service.

Call him.

I'm waiting for Pete (as opposed to someone pretending to be him) to answer my last e-mail. If he can't bother, neither can I.

Update: After researching the issue, Pete found that, although my order was processed, it was never shipped. He shipped it out. I am satisfied and consider the issue a blip, although the initial contradictory e-mails were frustrating. They have a great selection of stuff for the R56 at reasonable prices. That, plus your experiences, will bring me back again. Just wanted to let everyone know, Pete didn't leave me hanging.

Great News! All it ever takes is a phone call to Pete.

Thanks for the update.

Pete is a stand up guy. I knew he'd get it worked out for you.

Updated update: I received my stubby antenna and rear bumper protector from Minspeed yesterday, along with complimentary rear seat pulls -- very ahndy things! The stubby screwed right in. Weird weather today, so not sure about impact, if any, on radio reception. I haven't put on the protector yet. It's OEM and looks kind of thin.... Anyway, I am happy with the way Minspeed ultimately responded.
