Small and nimble. Should do for everything except for following a Ruf Porsche on the autobahn. And arresting people over 250 lbs!

Can't imagine that being a transport for any criminal. It would be to hard to get them in and out. Unless you cram them in the trunk and drive off with 'em like that!

 

Looks like they use them for driver training. Around here, the Polizei use Opels exclusively. Times I've been in Munich I saw the Polizei driving Audis. Seems it's always different wherever you go in Germany.

That's a Smart car (brand). It's funny to see one on the autobahn driving at over 100 mph. Hope it's bottom heavy.

 

The "Polizei" doesn´t use Opels exclusively.The new police cars in germany are only by Mercedes-Benz (C-Class and E-Class), BMW (328i and 530d ) and for the autobahn Porsche (911).
In germany, the green police cars will changed in blue police cars (reason: same colored police cars in the european union).
And yes, my english is very bad!!! :(
