I think we should all push for MINI to return to World Rally racing. Just imagine a 250+hp/torque MINI with Colin McRae behing the wheel screaming through the twisties of the Spanish country side, leaving all the Peugot's, Citrions, Fords,and Mitsubitchies in their dust!!!! Sounds like Heaven to me.

 

Colin McRae? no. steal Richard Burns from Peugeot, and they might have a shot.
Or maybe Tommi Makinen, sounds like he'll be fed up with Subaru by the end of
his contract there.

I'm still a great McRae fan from his days in the Subaru. I've never been that impressed with him in the Ford. I still think with the right car he could be the best again.

I can see the super wide fender flares, big tarmac course rims, and the roar of the engine...

Good stuff. I hope they do bring the mini back to rally...

 

I too am a WRC fan, best drivers in the world. My vote goes for Colin, maybe then the brits would stop complaining about the Mini not being a real Mini. I also believe that properly tricked out with about 250-275 hp this car could dominate especially on the pavement.

Hey I love the WRC too!!

Amazing how Richard Burns won the Championship last year in the last race of the year. About time I say. He could of won it a bunch of times by now. Gronholm is just awesome. Something about those Flying Finns, they're always successful.

Watch out for the last two rallies because Burns & Gronholm have nothing to lose.
