F1 this weekend. Late night Saturday. Alonso has the crown. Who will get Manufacturers title? Counting this one 2 races left in the 05 season. Get those picks in!

Those "unofficial" results are surprising....figured I'd be bringing up the rear this week.

I hope we can do this again next year, and maybe we can entice a few more folks to join in as well.

 

This was very fun because I actually cared more about each position of the race and was really upset whenever an accident occurred during a race, whereas last year I just watched Schuey and Ferrari win everything and could not have cared less about the other positions

Like this last race with Montoya and Rubens issues really messed up my choices

Oh, I would really have to screw up my China choices to lose this year's challenge so I can be happy with that.:smile:

I think I was really lucky though with the US GP fiasco otherwise DrDiff would probably be leading.

I wonder also if some of you missed giving your choices for a race or two

I got the points wrong. mgcman and krvhugr did not trade places. Remember that China is THIS WEEK!

Still time to move a slot or so.

 

I miss the 2 hour block with 12 laps max per driver from 3-4 years ago. So I would suggest the following changes to qualifying.

Friday: A 2 hour block MANDITORY 25 laps per driver. Note Fastest time. <25 laps = Manditory 10 positions deduction from race result.

Saturday: Re-fule for race strategy and put on race tires. One lap Best time gets pole. Order determined by Friday fastest times. No time Saturday Manditory 5 positions deduction from race results.

Technically you would get two races per race weekend!

No offense to Kimi and McClaren fans, but starting from the back of the grid is not even a slap on the wrist!

Sonabitchy, lost the overall by 3 points. I knew sleeping thru the Malaysian Grand Prix and getting no picks in would come back to haunt me

That just makes your 540 points from 18 races all the more impressive. That's 30 points on average per race. Historically awesome.

Heck Rollin may have finished 7th in the NAM Challenge, he beat 7 others in the overall!

Can't wait for next season. Gonna have to try harder to get those 4th through 6th places correct.
