Wow, I figured I had nothing to lose by eliminating all the Michelins from my choices, but I never expected for the teams to pull out like they did.

I movin up this week. I want to be number 1

Might as well entertain the thought because this race was a waste otherwise

I thought about doing that for about 3 seconds and then decided there was no way they would let it happen....

Holy ***** letsmotor.....um, I mean, congratulations letsmotor! 81 points!?! I know your hunch paid off, but I still can't figure out where all those points came from. A bunch of us got the 15 "first time winner" points for M Schu, but what do they call the bump in points for the 4 non-Ferrari runners? Example: why 15 points for Freisacher?

<edit> Answered my own question - 5 "darkhorse" points for each of the guys who finished in the top 6 for the first time + 10 extra "flush" points for picking all 6 of the top 6 finishers. What a haul! Too bad some other folks apparently had the same hunch or you might have been #1 now!

I was the first to nominate all Bridgestone drivers and ended up bagging 87 points. I joined at the last minute and didn't get put in the NAM league like I wanted, otherwise I'd be leading! Still took a good jump in the Melbourne league standings

Congrats! 87 points!!! Well, I was kicking myself for not going that way when I considered it in the wee hours, but the truth is I was sure they would work it out. My (incorrect) hunch was that there'd be a compromise that would give Bstone runners a slight advantage....it's the only reason I picked M Schuey to win.... Oh well, ain't hindsight grand?

Amazing results for picking the boycott. Can't argue (or compete) with those numbers. Over on the Melbourne group, looks like a few picked the same way too. Oh boy, there goes the season!

Hmm. Read it today on the IndyStar web Page. Bernie is Pissed and there is talk that all 7 Michelin teams have ireparibly dammaged F1. This means HUGE fines and suspensions (no not the kind on the cars!) Hmm If that comes true. It Should be quite easy to do your picks for the rest of the year. Ferrari 1-2, Jordan 3-4, and Minardi 5-6. I tried to change my pixs but the time ran out for me. Still shocked and appauled at Brainless Bernie! Spoke with a Marion County sherrif and he sait it was a RIOT at the track. Noit tunny at all!

Quite true. As it became obvious that the F1 race was in shambles, I and my family left our seats early (nothing to watch, thank you very much FIA) and made our way back towards where our MCS was parked in the car corral. As we walked by the F1 Paddock Club (THE VIP AREA) we were greated by two sights: 1) Sir Frank Williams being piloted off the premesis in a Black BMW 7 series, and 2) the arrival of some 15 to 20 of Indiana's finest in full riot gear (never seen that before at a GP). Having experienced the lobing of OZ grenades (Foster's 36 oz. beer cans) at the participating cars, and hearing the boos and chants of "bullsh*t" from the crowd in front of the podium, I'd say that our timely retreat was justified in the name of safety (just like Michelin).

What to do?!?!?!?!

Pick the top six drivers... (mix of 4 or 5 Michelin cars and Schumi)

Or pick the Bridgestone teams as Brainless Bernie will find a way to fix this race also!

I kinda fear that the results will be changed to Bridgestone teams only after the FIA hands out punishments to the 7 Micheline teams. Honda will probably be banned for life of the FIA as they have been bad twice now in the last 4 months!

It is time for a Non-Bernie series! Take the chassis back to 1995 (wide suspensions, slick tyres, and automatic transmissions).

That's a most definate yes. The whole purpose of delaying the "punishment" for the M7 (I surmise disqualification from their following two or three races) until after the European season ends is to avoid the lynching that Mad Max, Bernie and the rest of the idiots so RICHly deserve when the Euofans hear of it.

Mad Max Must Go!

Dr. Diff,

Great job! You were a god this week. Everybody correct and only Button and Trulli out of their final positions. Amazing!

We'll try to catch up next week.

I had a pretty good week myself; picked a flush also and scored 55 points. I'm up to 3rd overall. If I hadn't over-slept for Malaysia (didn't get any picks in) or if BAR hadn't been disqualified from the San Marino GP (cost me 11 points) I'd be leading the whole thing. Oh well, there's a lot of season to go.

Yes I was quite surprized as I was not able to watch the race last week. My inlaws don't have digital and speed is only on their digital cable package where they live.

I just wonder if the results will be changed.

GGP: I wish you had gotten in the NAM F1 Challenge. Wish I would have gotten to change my pix for the US NON-Grand Prix! I would have had two flushes in a row!

The Brittish GP is next Should be a good race. Will it be wet?

Dean

Raikonen is just awesome these last races...his reliability is another story

Damn Fisi stalled again!!!...cost me 4 pts and I need all the pts I can get if I want to win this thing. Other times it is just out of their control, but Fisi is getting brain fade or somethin.

If only the race ended with about 20 laps to go

Mclaren is back without a doubt.

This has been a great season so far

Damn Fisi only stalled once I was counting on him having at least two set-backs and picked him 6th

Picked a flush for the 3rd week in a row. I think I moved into the overall lead, although the results aren't posted yet. Atiri from the Melbourne league picked a royal flush That puts him right back in contention.

I think you are leading

I think there should be a flush leaderboard. You must be the leader of that category too.

I have been lucky, but I have had only one flush. The US GP fiasco, I don't count

Woohoo,I did take the lead! Atiri did NOT have a royalflush; it was late last night when I was trying to figure out who scored what. letsmotor, how many points did you score? You seemed to have moved up considerably in the standings.

Kimi's out again!!!!

On lap 36 the running order matched my picks exactly...then Kimi's car ground to a stop on the track. I obviously underestimated Monty as well. I figured he'd make it well into the points but who guessed he would get that far in about 10 laps?

Despite a mediocre score last week, I managed to extend my lead by a few points!
