Sorry can't make this one guys. I have already made plans to attend the BRITTS & BATTLESHIP CAR SHOW in Wilmington NC that weekend. It is next to the Battleship NC along the river and very beautiful that time of year. See ya at next Dragon and lilruffcat don't forget reservations at Fontana. Call me monday. Let me know. Luke

Delete my plus one, she said "it would scare her" and she'd take away my Twistie priviledges...as if she could! ;-) Anyway, it's likely just me, wifey will decide at last minute...

Oh for MINI's sakes! Now she's saying I'm leaving her out and I shouldn't be rooming with anybody b/c then she can't go if she wants to and she might go, and I'm just doing this to keep her from going! I'll keep my drama to myself, and leave you out of it. Thanks for the offer, I'll just book a one BR and be done with it--maybe you should put me down for +.5? ;-)

Just booked a one bedroom at Fontana Lodge $89, only 11/1 and 11/2, will have to come back late Saturday, with or without my chaperone, 'cause we're booked on that Sunday--oh well, partial fun is better than none!

Whooo Hooo... RudyT with his better half will make his debut at the Dragon.
Just got off the phone with Fontana Village and made reservations at the lodge. Just give them a call and they will set you up . I told them about this thread and know we're coming. They have rooms available but they need to speak with the coordinator to setup more details, keep us together sort of thing.
Also... Blimey... Lets setup the convoy with the THMMC. Count me in as a leader or what not. Let me know if you need anything. Its a good idea.

Now that I am back from Germany and I have my MINI, your about to see someone get very active...

We just got here 4 mos. ago with our mini, from Wiesbaden (WAAF). so.. no one is doing a cabin.. just checking.. because i wanted to go partial on one, and park my tear drop camper in your driveway.. lemme know please?

Spangdahlem AB, Germany about 90 miles north of Ramstein on the west end of Germany. Very near Luxemburg border and Belguim.
Good times indeed.
FYI... I am staying in the lodge. The reservationist said a few other MINI owners did the same. Not sure if there is going to be some sort of "base" operations or hang out. I am sure someone will dedicate a space
