This came today from the Deals Gap people, who put us on the schedule, "Got you posted. Should be a great time to run the Dragon with very little traffic."
Here's the link for the calendar: http://www.tailofthedragon.com/calendar.html Sweet!
Also, I got the contract in the mail today, there are a moderate amount of rooms left, and they are reserved for us until Oct. 1st. So, these rooms have been going fast, words to the wise. Thanks everyone for the help and great ideas! Also, keep those shirt and hoodie orders coming. I will be needing to get the order in the next few weeks to have them done by MSSD.

Didn't I see that someone was reserving a three bedroom cabin as the hospitality/Brew Swap cabin? I need to make sure only one of those cabins gets reserved. Thanks guys!

oh, do we just contact the logde directly for room reservations? and who is taking orders for shirts or hoodies?
Hi, and welcome to the community! There is no deadline for going, but we do have rooms held that will need to be reserved by Oct. 1st. I am taking orders for shirts and hoodies. Other than that, all the info can be found on the first page of this thread, and I am more than happy to help answer any other questions you may have! I know you have never been to the Dragon before, but let me give you this bit of advice.....GO! You will understand why so many of want to go at least twice a year, and some would go every weekend if they could!

Is this Dragon meetup open to anyone? I'm up in NoVA and was at the last MOTD and have really been itching to get back! Would love to join up with everyone on this!

I feel so...wanted!
The DH and I are trying to figure out work schedules and whatnot, but if we're there that will also be my birthday weekend - yeah! That would be just about the best birthday present...

Not trying to make this thread six miles long, just wanted to let Rich or anybody know I rec'd my confirmation and I did get two Queen beds, so I can take on a boarder if need be...until Rich is confirmed with Mark, I'll have to keep it open for him; maybe it can go at the last minute to somebody who plans to tent camp and then gets cold feet--literally! ;-)
Is there a possibility of having a vendor tag along?
Also anyone here running a milltek exhaust? I would be obliged to ride along and "try before I buy"
My opinion on the vendor thing is that I want this weekend to be very organic, and smaller scale than MOTD, which is in a league of it's own. There is a possibility that I would make one invite, someone who has been a big part of our community in this area, just because he does so much work for all of us anywhere. It could be a way to give back to him a little for all he does for us. You may know who I speak of, but I have not quite worked it out in my head if I can be fair about that, and I think it is. So, there may be one vendor, I guess, but that's it. I just want to keep it about the drive mainly.... Any thoughts?

It should always be about the drive and people who drive it... regardless if there is vendors there or not... Its the MINI's, people who drive them, and the setting at which it takes place that should set the tone/mood... brewing an unforgettable weekend in which we all will have stories to tell to the grandkids...
The beauty about this run is.. its an open thing, just beginning.. anyone can come, and that includes vendors.. its just their choice to show up.. right? There arent any restrictions to this?? so.. like someone said earlier.. the more the merrier?
