My new Whip: 2012 PW/CR JCW!

Took delivery last night. The dealer wanted to wait for my stripes to be finished but I wanted it nooooooow. The stripes will be red on the boot and bonnet.

I'll have more pics shortly. Here is a basic rundown:

JCW Recaro seats (love them!)
JCW Steering Wheel
JCW Dash
Red colorline
Navi
Lots of other things I couldnt live without :P

Out with the old, my poor 2011 MCS has been moved out in lieu of the new hotness. So far I'm in love all over again.

I want to get out of this office and go drive

I did the alcantara version but that would be it.

Please report the driving difference between the MCS and JCW please
Thus far it feels quite a bit different. Some things I have noticed:

*The Dunlop runflats are very nice, for RFTs, much grippier than the Continentals that came with the 11. (summer vs all season I suspect)

*The steering feels different, heavier. I am attributing this to the wheel though.

*I'm not sure if my car was just worn already, but the clutch and shifter feel very different. For example, my 11 had a fair amount of play in the shifter while in gear, the JCW has next to none.

*There is a new ambient light under the center stack, hear the aux input, very much welcomed.

*10,000 mile oil change is already on the window sticker, but the computer still says 15,000

*The OBC screen is changed, trip is no longer shown all the time, but is an option you can step through.

*The notification tones are different.

*Exhaust tone is pretty weak- I had a magnaflow on the 11 that I left on itbut I may end up regretting that decision.

*Door is much heavier- enough that my girlfriend noticed immediately.

I haven't romped on it yet since it's only got 120 miles now, but once it gets a bit more miles under it's belt I will be able to open it up.

There's a light by the AUX input? My 2012 doesn't have that. :(

Recaro Seats

I took delivery of my Black 2012 JCW in January but don't remember having Recaro seats as an option. Is that something new, can you post some shots. And congratulations on your new toy, enjoy the love fest...

I havent even done any glamour shots yet, but I will grab one tonight of it. The mood lighting also turns on when you open or unlock the doors.

Yep, they are a newish option, added at the beginning of 2012.

Finally had a moment to take some pics of the interior, I apologize for the quality, was done with a phone.

Apologies for my truck and the dimples in the seat, just had new tires put on and the old ones were in my back seat before the pics were taken.
