I received my set of (4) Michelin Pilot Super Sport from TireRack yesterday
. Total cost was $607 shipped plus I will be getting a $70 pre-paid Mastercard later on in the mail
.
These tires are getting great reviews on TR's website so I have high expectations for them. My run-craps are pretty much done at 27K miles.

I went with the Firestone Indy 500 wide oval. They are doing great for me. Sort of blazing a new trail here. They have great reviews. Wet has been good and I really have not had them break loose yet. I am happy.
Much quieter than the old Faulkens.

Just removed my Run-Flats and changed wheels.....went with Konig Feathers and 235/40/17 Dunlap Specs. After 4K miles I'm really happy with them. Alta was great with assistance and customer support, they answered my numerous questions, shipped when they said they would and the ride/noise level is are much better without the run flats. I added Tire Racks TPMS sensors to the new wheels so I don't have to look at warning lights on my dash.
Tried the Continental Extreme Contact DWS (HP All-Seaon) but found the side wall too soft and the car wandered (but got better over time).
Eventually moved these tires over to a 17x7.5 rim and stretched them just enough to eliminate the wander - extremely quiet and comfortable.
Decided to change to Conti's Extreme Contract DW (HP Summer) and could not be happier - quiet, smooth, and just enough sidewall stiffness to make cornering on normal streets a controlled and responsive. However, these are not suitable for AutoX level driving. There I use Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 which are as stiff as the Runflats but with more stick'em.

those that ran Hankook Ventus V12 Evo... how was the break in? is it really 2k? I drive pretty aggressive canyon runs a few times a week... looking for something to glue me into those corners...
+1 - a lot of my S2000 friends are running these now on the streets. Either this or the Hankook Ventus R-S3 for a little more $$$ and more grip/less wear. For track tires, a lot go with the Toyo R888 now.
When I need to swap out the run flats on my MINI, I'll prob go with the R-S3 tires for a little more grip since I might track/AutoX it occasionally. Any I may even use the R-S3s on my S2000 - those or the R888s.
That said, everyone says the V12s are a GREAT tire for a daily driver. Good wet weather performance too I hear. If I wasn't planning on doing any extracurricular activities with the MINI, I'd go V12s to save some $$$.

I replaced my Run Flats with Continental Extreme Contact DW. I am very happy cars rides better and is much quieter. Side wall is a little soft and I wish I had gone with a lower profile tire. But over all I am very happy with these tires.

I chose them from last year's Car and Driver comparison test where they came in a very close second to Dunlop Direzza's. When I got them from TireRack, they were around $90 a piece and came with a $80 mail in rebate so net cost $70 each! Would definitely go that route again.
They will also work fine for an occasional autocross or track day. If I was going to do that more often, a set of 16" wheels with dedicated softer tires would be the ticket.
