2011 JCW battery location

My apologies for the basic question. I'm considering a new JCW Clubbie and I can't find any hard info about the location of the battery. I've seen some vague mentions of it being under the hood and some saying it's in the trunk.

Basic question, I know, but my screen name should answer any questions about why I'm asking.

Thanks all.

Paul

Its under the bonnet (hood) on the passenger side all the way back against the firewall.

Outstanding!

The Clubman has such a perfect space under the floor to use that I just wanted to make sure it was empty on the JCW version.

Thanks Jeremy!

Yes, it is empty . There is the boot space between the rear seats and barn doors and the cover that opens to expose the well (little bigger than briefcase size) under the boot space.

That's exactly my thought. Here's the sub I'm planning on using.

In short, amazing. EASILY one of the top 2 or 3 subs I've ever used. I think I'd notch it in right below the Dynaudio 1200 and JL W7-series. It's THAT good.
