Murdering out in Process

They sent a couple of pics yesterday. What a tease. Hope to pick it up today. Belt line still needs to be blacked out. Clear Bra was installed whole hood, fenders and a-pillers. His only comment was WOW is that hood round.
Flat Black Stripes with Red pins need to be finished too. Should get late today.

You went with flat black paint? I thought I read that you were doing body color, could be wrong.

+1 on the joey mod and you should do the door handles as well.

Blacked out on the chrome all flat like rear tail light pic. Full clear bra on the whole hood, front fenders and a pillars and rear shelf, mirrors, door handles etc. Blacking out the lights too. You can see they did the yellow side reflector on the front and rear fenders. Then I am doing Flat Black 7" Viper
Stripes that will have a 1/2 wide red Pin stripe on the outsides of the Viper to set it off. pick up the other red on the car too. Have red front and rear tow hooks also. Getting it in the morning as they said 6:30 and with the snow coming I figured I will get it in the morning after all turns to rain. I love the look of the Joey Mod. I want to see one live with some miles on it first. Xenons and not cheap to replace. I have a buddy who is Mcgieverish I could put on this one. Good with a rattle can and modding. His truck has a whole in the firewall 4" in diameter and you can not get another wire through it. I few added on electronics and stuff.

Island Maser - Are you in either of the local clubs? Love to see the car at some point. There aren't too many JCWs in the area.

Are you placing the viper strips on top of the clear bra?

That was my next question. Your installers are about to learn the hard way that they should have done the stripes first. Looks great though. What did they use to blackout the taillamp/headlight rings?

How are you going to put clear bra over Flat Black Stripes? If you tried it they would not be flat. The Clear would make them glossy again. Flat has to go on top or use a matt Clear but that was not the look I am after. If they are over the top they can be easily peeled or replaced if they get worn or damaged but doubt it will be an issue.

Not in the local club yet. It will be at Exotic@RTC for MINI day and for the reg. Sat. events when I don't bring the Maserati. I need to check into local drives and club events.

Please do. Love to see the car. The two local clubs are PSMINI and SSMINI. I'm just up the hill from RTC in Sammamish and make the events there every so often.

Car looks great! I just picked up a used 2009 JCW Clubman and am trying to figure out which direction to go with it.

You gotta slam it down now, it looks kinda high in your garage pic. I agree about the red pinstripes, looks nice.
