Doesn't the JCW Aero Kit come with a black front grille surround?

Doesn't the JCW Aero Kit come with a black front grille surround?

My MA just sent me a pic of my new JCW as it arrived at the dealer today. However, despite them having installed the JCW Aero Kit at the port the front grille surround is still chrome. I thought the JCW Aero Kit had a black front grille surround?

Is this correct? Photo Attached.
Thanks

Unless something changed, the grill surround should be black. Mine was black.

My car came with the factory aero kit. I had the JCW aero kit installed on my car over the winter. The grill surround is black.

I have seen it both ways. Considering that you paid for this then you should get what you want. If you like the chrome leave it on. If you want it black ask why they "forgot" to put the new black grill surround on.

Thanks, I was sure it should be black.

However, since it's chrome I guess I have a choice, leave it or ask them to switch it. Kind of on the fence. Any opinions?

I prefer the black...gives it a more aggressive look like the bumper and sets it apart from the standard bumpers.

From the photo I posted it is amazing how much like "Sparkling Silver" my car looks. It's actually Dark Silver (I hope).

Another question,

Does that look like the JCW kit front grill? (See picture in first post)

I mean, did they replace the front grill with the JCW kit grill but put the old chrome surrounds back on or did they just not touch the upper front grill at all?

I need to know whether to tell the dealer they are missing 2 parts or 3.

Thanks

The JCW grill has larger holes than standard. It looks like a JCW grill to me.

So they replaced the front grill but put the original surrounds back on. Interesting.

These pics are from the Outmotoring site. I think your grill looks like the second one.

Standard grill with JCW surround

Just heard from my MA who heard from the VDC. The two missing pieces were still in the box. They are shipping them to my dealer.
