Getting 18" Breyton MINI GTS-R's for the summer. I'll post pics when I get them installed.

 

Hey gang, just wanted to drop a note to let you know that car #430 was just sold (brand new) last month.

Local dealer held onto the car upon arrival last summer. It was never officially shown or for sale until very recently. The car was shipped from PA to California.

 

WC50 #425 has found a home near Philly. Couldn't be more excited!

Car #447 was available at MINI of Allentown last summer. Not sure if it sold locally or elsewhere, as it appears that many of these cars ultimately were transported to other locations.

To be honest, I am waiting to get a clear bra installed (after the weather improves and I can polish out a few swirls) and have not had the chance to enjoy the car yet. Still driving my R53 for now, but expect to be motoring in the WC50 very soon. Ordering a vanity plate this week too. Someone already has PA "WC50", anyone you know?

In the future, it would be great if we could find a way to get a few of these cars together at MTTS or other event. I've now seen 3 in person, but never more than one at a time.

Yes it would be cool to see some together, well I know I'm going to the Dragon so maybe we can get a group shot. It would be neat if some computer savvy person could make a map that shows where all the owners are.

 

I have not been to the Dragon. I have been to MITM several times and really enjoyed it. Also did one leg of MTTS last year so that is a possibility next year.

Do you want to sell the stock wc50 wheels? I have #417 and one of her wheels has curb rash

 

I installed Blizzaks on them and am using them for winter.

Which Conti's are you using? How is the overall feel with JCW Suspension and 18's?

 

I'm using 215/40-18 Continental Extreme Contact DW tires. I feel more from the road and they handle great. These all have 5mm spacers on them. No rubbing.

 

What do you think? I'm not sure yet.

 

I like the black beltline on the WC50, as it ties in with the black front grille surround. As long as you keep it simple and don't murder out all of the chrome, then it works and looks good.
