Mine is #433 from Normal, IL. Added JCW suspension and JCW rear wing. Plates ordered will read "WORKS F 1"

 

Those WC50's are badass! Love the color combo. Instant classic!

 

Today I received a credit card looking thing and a letter saying I have free paint sealant renewal every six months for 12 applications. Is this unique to the WC50? I never got that for my Clubman. Did everyone else get this?

 

How many WC50's are doing the MTTS? What parts? Anyone else going to be in Wash DC?

 

I have not seen this. Did you do some kind of promotion or add on with the dealer?

I should be at MTTS for the leg into or out of Kansas City. I don't think we will be at MITM this year but you never know may change the plans.

 

I never got any paint sealant renewal card, as this sounds like a dealer only promotion that you had when you bought your car. I purchased mine at Baltimore MINI and as of yet haven't received anything nor expect to. Considering I'll be waxing it often I doubt I will need it! Hope that helps grh1950.

 

I put Zaino on my car so no need to wax all the time. Only every 6-12 months.

 

I'm thinking of heading to FedEx, but it will depend on my job - I work nights downtown DC, off at 0630. There is a (slim) possibility I may be on regular hours and get to spend the whole day there.

 

Hey all just got WC 50 #401 home. 2365 miles and in the garage. Dealer installed clear bra which saved the front on the trip home. Got it at Northwest Mini in Tacoma Wa., big thanks to Rocky and Diane for all their help. So far have added M7 J-Brace, M7 Heat shield, JCW leather/CF shift ****, window tint and a Alta stubby ant.

 

Looking good.
Now you just need to head halfway back for MTTS and MITM.

 

Hey all crawled under to install a torque arm insert today and noticed there is no under body plastic panels. There is a small panel on passenger side that seems to protect electrical connection on a pump but nothing on the drivers side. Anyone else?

 

I can not check mine for you. It is in the body shop after being rear ended going to MTTS in St. Louis last week. Matching the paint seems to be a big issue with the paint process we are using so I will update on what I find out with that.

This is my first post here. I came from the STI and EVO world and just purchased WC50 #424 from Seattle MINI. I was ready for a more "grown up car"! It will be here in Boulder soon for canyon carving excellence.

Big thanks to Chuck, Tom and Damon at SEATTLE MINI. Incredible service and made the long distance transaction a breeze. I almost flew out and drove it back but just don't have that kind of time available right now.

Welcome 424, I'm sure you will be pleased with the WC50. I had to buy mine out of state as well and I chose to drive back, so I know you are awaiting it's arrival. With MINI set to get back to it's roots in WRC Rally just imagine the future special editions to come.

 

Congrats. Probably only 3-4 WC50 left to go in US.

Hey all you WC50 owners..well I've added the JCW suspension, wow what a difference. The car feels tight and controled, identical to my GP. Also the torque steer has completely gone. Also installed the NM hot and cold side tubes. Got rid of the muffler and the noise maker within the intact track. Noticed a little difference in power but nothing breathtaking. Also replaced the runflats with Nitto Neo Gen 215/40/17 ride quality is much improved and gripe is vastly improved both wet and dry.
