JCW suspension impressions

I wanted to see if anyone here had ordered their JCW HT without the JCW suspension and then upgraded later. Did you notice a big difference in handling? Did you feel it was worth every penny? I'm on the fence of upgrading and just want to see the opinions of those who made that jump.

Thanks!

This is a hot topic for me too. I didn't care about the JCW aero kit, but wanted the suspension kit. I ended up with the opposite and while I haven't pushed this car as hard into corners as I did my '07S, it feels more solid with less body roll. For now, I'll sit and wait for opinions with you.

There's a big differences in the amount of pitch and roll the car experiences, especially while under acceleration.

Let's clarify this statement. Are the "big differences" positive ones? Would you consider going back to what you had previously?

Along with knowing whether it makes a difference, I also want to know the buyers level of satisfaction with it knowing how much they paid for it.

ive been wanting to see a pic of the car with JCW suspension so I can see how much wheel gap is eliminated by that small drop.

I have the JCW suspension, and just got a loaner from dealer last weekend, and picked my car back up. I feel there is a huge difference, and for me a good one. I live on Long Island and work in the city, pot issues are an issue, but I wanted all JCW. I am so glad I did. The standard S is just OK for me, while with the JCW suspension, the car feels so much more tighter, even at speed on smooth surface. For me, I am so happy with JCW gear. Good luck.

When you say JCW suspension do you mean the optional coil over JCW option etc. or do you mean the JCW "sports suspension" option. I have the sports option but wonder if the coil overs and strut brace make a difference you would notice on the road or just at a road course.

I know a SCCA race car builder who feels a strut brace just means you will have damage to bothe corners if you put it in the wall.

Maybe slightly off topic, but I'm wondering how much tires play in handling. I have the stock suspension on my JCW, and I find myself squealing around corners more than I'd like. Would upgrading the suspension help with this or are my tires the weakest link?
