I'm hoping you're right. Looked into other sets that I thought would fit but ended up that they wouldn't clear the brakes. Spring/summer can't get here fast enough btw mine is the same color combo as yours.
16х7 ET45. 15 mm spacers make it possible. The gap between the caliper and the wheel is not more than 1,5 mm. But still there is the space for weights on their usual place. These wheels are the forged wheels. Weight is 7 kg. They are not being manufactured any more. But I belive that there are even more capacious 16" wheels if to look around.
I run 235/40/17 on rota rb 7.5x17 on my JCW using a 12.5mm spacer with absolutely no problems. Car is lowered on mach v springs. I tried the 5mm and it was too close for my comfort and not hub-centric.
The "Show Me Your Wheels" thread is continually updated posts of wheels on regular or S Minis. I don't recall seeing any having the JCW version with BBK, so I was hoping to see some updates to this thread with some different wheels in varying sizes.
btw mine is the same color combo as yours.
