'12 JCW OEM Clutch Part Number?
Hello
Need to replace my clutch, well not really. Bought car almost a month ago and it has been at Dealer for last two weeks (warranty work). Throwing bearing is bad so while they are in there I want to replace the clutch.
I see a couple of different part numbers for the OEM clutch kit (plate, bearing, disc)
Have browsed many posts and the net also. Not convinced.
ECS has OEM, and they also list Valeo.
Some guidance appreciated.

Sometimes the valeo is the OEM part , or LUK or Sachs dependent on the year. How many miles, if you replace the clutch is best to change out the Dual mass flywheel as they cannot be resurfaced and a New clutch on a older DM flywheel will chatter. If you are low mileage and the clutch looks good, I would just do the throw-out bearing and the guide tube, and check the seal behind it. , other wise you will have to do the clutch kit and the flywheel if you want the factory feel. If you want the Dual mass to single mass and want a little more performance orientated you could go with Clutch masters and the FX100. Also cuts out that dual mass purchase.

21208607915 is the newest part number for the N14 JCW engine which was the last year in the JCW models with that engine.
Thanks

Thank you for the reply. Well that threw a wrench in my plan
The car has 51K miles. If I replace the Dual Mass I will have to replace the part myself, if it does not need replacing then I will have to pay for it. If it fails later then it will have to be warranty replaced.
hmmm....!
Thanks for the part #'s. It would be nice if the dealer finds everything needs to be replaced
What is the link for clutch masters / FX100?

old clutch thread revisit
any big down sides to the aluminum flywheel FX100, on a mildly tuned hard street driven fJCW R56? Does the master cylinder really need to be replaced?
