Well, I did it. Placed the order but the dealer wouldn't do it. I offered to give them the bumper and have them get me the regular MCS one, but they didn't want to... Oh well. Maybe I can work something out with one of you guys.

Now I need to build my sig...

Does anyone know where I can find the factory race splitter? I really been looking for that splitter.

Great pics

I have a 2004 JCW mc40 and I mean a true JCW, it has the JCW engine, exhaust and the rest of the set up. I have seen 4 other MC40's that claim to be jcw, but they dont have the marks of a JCW with the engine, signature exhaust. and I am wondering how many ACTUAL JCW mc40's were built?? anyone know where to get the numbers on how many of those were actually built???

Mine will be off the boat in mid-June. I have no problems taking a couple of days of leave to drive over and do the swap. Just let me know.

I'm having trouble understanding exactly what your car is. MotoringFile did an article recently about the various tuning kits: http://www.motoringfile.com/2012/05/07/24014/

Can you find your set up in the descriptions? Also, note that there are a couple of corrections in the Comments section.

From what I've read, the factory JCW exhaust systems are plain, as is mine. The kit ones have the JCW logo.

Man, I'd be soooooo upside down on that move. Having said that, I ALMOST don't care and am tempted to do it anyway.

Well thank you! Unfortunately my interior is a bit of a mess at the moment. Not too bad but not something I want to share with the Internet. Just the checkered cloth with chrome trim inside. Pretty plain but I likes it!

Haha thanks. Surprisingly, it's growing on me. I definitely like the front now, but the back is taking a bit more time... What do you mean yours will be off the boat in mid-June?

Thanks Steven,

I've posted a dyno graph on one of the other threads in the FJCW section,

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-09-jcw-7.html

When we last had her on the dyno she was making just shy of 260hp and about 270lbs ft. That was with an itg panel filter, Forge front mount and an evolve re-map.

Since then i've added an evolve de-cat pipe which from past experience on our last MCS gave an extra 10hp and 10lbs ft roughly.

I hope to find out in a few days as the car has recently been in for warranty work and i've got a feeling they've updated the software and over written the map. Another trip to evolve

Kev
