Post pics of your Factory JCW MINI
Thanks Steven,
I've posted a dyno graph on one of the other threads in the FJCW section,
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-09-jcw-7.html
When we last had her on the dyno she was making just shy of 260hp and about 270lbs ft. That was with an itg panel filter, Forge front mount and an evolve re-map.
Since then i've added an evolve de-cat pipe which from past experience on our last MCS gave an extra 10hp and 10lbs ft roughly.
I hope to find out in a few days as the car has recently been in for warranty work and i've got a feeling they've updated the software and over written the map. Another trip to evolve

Looking nice! I want mine delivered to my house... Did you own that trailer or paid to get it delivered?
More pics!!

I will post more pictures soon.
I had the car delivered. I live in New Orleans and the car came from Houston. It's amazing how few JCW's there are for sale in the whole country. I went on tthe internet to every MINI dealership until I found the one I wanted. I made a deal with them over the phone and we split the shipping cost to have it delivered straight to my house!!
I will post more pictures soon.

I came pretty close to getting that colour combo but with silver wheels. Must look pretty impressive in person.
I must have missed this pic. You must be in RAF because I figure anybody else would be hauled away as a terrorist or something for parking in front of some a great looking plane. Is it an old FA18/Hornet?
Wish I had access to photo ops like that
. Maybe if I work on my photochop skills.

This is why I'm kind of shocked that nobody is really biting on mine yet... Especially since it's $2-5k cheaper than almost all of them on autotrader, all of which have higher mileage.
I think it has a lot to do with the average MINI buyer is not an enthusiast so they have no idea why this JCW is asking a premium price over a MCS. Most people on the street that see my car like it but think it is a heavily customized version not a factory JCW.

I recently picked up an '09 fJCW Hatchback with 15,000 miles in immaculate condition for $22k. It has the Aero kit and Xenons and no Sunroof (which adds unnecessary weight). Plus it came with an extra Challenge rim and a car cover. The only things it doesn't have that I wanted is heated seats and leather. I can live without leather (it has leatherette) and I did the heated seat mod (there's a full write up with pics in the How-To section...).
In my opinion, it's especially hard to find these cars with less than 30k miles on them with the Aero Kit (not sure why, that was just my experience). On the other hand, '09s with more than 30k miles are pretty abundant (and with great options too). It's very difficult to find them without the sunroof. So, keep that in mind as you go down the path. Maybe it's just me and please don't take offense, but 30k miles is kind of a cutoff for a used car for me. I just don't even look at the cars with more than that.
There was an '09 listed on AutoTrader recently with 3,900miles and it was listed for $23,900, but it didn't have the aero kit, which was a deal-breaker for me. It sold, but I don't know how much it went for.
If you want leather interior, you can expect to pay a little more for the car, but I don't think the same applies for the aero kit. The other thing I've noticed is that there are A TON of fJCW Clubman's on the market. A lot of people aren't hanging on to them and I'm not sure why. I had absolutely no interest in owning a Clubman, so I didn't spend much time looking at them. I like the Clubman, I just don't want to own one.
