JCW Clubmans?

So has anyone here taken delivery of a JCW Clubman yet? I just want to live vicariously through someone while I wait for mine to arrive.

Thoughts....impressions.....anything?

They're not released till July 14th. Neither the Clubman nor the Hardtop.

Nope I'm on the Courage which is scheduled to dock July 1st. As far as I've heard they're keeping all JCW's at the VDC till July 7th at the very earliest. They then MAY get released to dealers but even if they are they won't be given to us till July 14th at the very earliest.

I'm curious how the new JCW exhaust sounds on the Clubman.

I just had a new JCW mini as a loaner and the exhaust note is significantly louder and the extra HP was a hoot to drive. If you are getting the JCW package, you won't be disappointed, but of course, it is not for the faint of wallet. Well worth the price in my observation. I would think the clubby version would be about the same. The pipes are engraved with the JCW logo and much larger than stock, about twice the size in fact. They were in the center on the one I drove, but it was not a clubman.

Mine is a Week 28 build (starting July 7th) Expect it to reach Portland sometime in late August. Just 600 miles and a day away.

Did you listen to Todd's sound clip over at motoringfile with the exhaust burble ?

The R56 could use some on the underside of the hood, over the turbo !

That protective cloth is very functional and long lasting. I was very impressed with the quality of the material. As low as the mini sits, who in the world is looking under the car anyway?

I looked up some pics of the standard Cooper S Clubman exhaust and to me it is exactly the same

Haven't they bothered to change it?
