Just saw the new JCW at the dealership. Only bad thing about it was it was an automatic. Seems I may be able to order one in June and get it as a manual by Aug/Sept, otherwise it may be not until winter. Nicely equipped car, just more stuff that I'd want, or can afford. Car is $41K which is about $6K more than I built one for. Is there a way to get alerts or email when the tune kit/ suspension is available for the 2014 F56S from you? The dealership said they could get the 2015 MCS kit, but not for the 2014 MCS.

 

MINI of Austin just called to tell me that the JCW Tuning Kit parts were released for sale.

 

Looks like it has been released again for the JCW Tuning Kit. Engine / Exhaust kit.

 

Good luck getting carbon tips any time soon. They are sold out at the moment.

My biggest regret was not ordering the car with the sports suspension. Any word on the JCW suspension kit? Any comparisons to the sports suspension?

Yea, that was what they told me, without the sway bar upgrade this time. They had the suspension adjusted pretty low in pre production form ( Mule car ), I bet its was lower then what you can achieve with this kit. But the kit can go pretty low.

 

So you guys do recommend spending the money for the JCW Tuning Kit? Exhaust sounds amazing so lets put that aside. Can you definitely feel added performance from just +15 HP??? Or is this just your mind playing tricks on you? Also, can someone post a picture of this bluetooth remote thing?

What's the minimum required wheel size for the sport brake kit?

 

No spec on the minum , but according to the ETK parts diagrams: I think the design of the face has allot to do with it also as some MINI genuine Wheels seem to bend around the front 4 piston calipers.

17" and you will need either the MINI OEM alloys designed for use with the brakes (the spoke bow outward for clearance) or aftermarket rims.

As a guide, I have 18x8 ET45 aftermarket rims and they only just clear!

I knew I had to spend more than just for the brake kit to drop a bigger anchor.
Anyone running this with some 17in aftermarket wheels? 18in rubber gets expensive.

 

You are welcome. The stock MINI 17" wheels that fit do have a curve to them inward.

 

Do any of the JCW parts work with the F56 3 Cyl (non-S)?
