The JCW exhausts tuning kit is for the Cooper S (2.0L). 11122359631 linked above and those tips.

The JCW brakes , suspension, and wheels.. etc are shared works on the F56 MINI Cooper 3cyl. 1.5L ( NON S ). Unless something new comes out. We will post it in this thread.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, really appreciated. I was looking in deeper and noticed that I was able the purchase the JCW Tuning kit off of miniusa.com, even though my vehicle was selected as a 3 Cyl. 1.5L, guess it must just be a bug Nevertheless thanks.

Just saw the jcw suspension kit shows up on mini's website now for the 2014-2015 models. Also my rep called and told me my kit is all ready at the dealership. My car goes in at the end of month to have the kit installed!

I allready have some pics of how the car looks now. I will post up some before and after pics for sure!

I told my rep when they install it to set the ride height at the lowest possible setting. Thats the only real adjustment right?

Looks like is comes with everything, unlike the prevouis JCW kits which you have to order the springs separate.

As more JCW goodies are released it will be posted here. Thats all the info I have on these.

I noticed you mentioned the JCW Suspension kit was for F56's without the dynamic dampers... I ordered a Cooper S with the Fully Loaded package which automatically includes the dynamic dampers. Does this mean I will not be able to install the JCW Suspension now??

I think they mean it does not have a built in DDC option on the suspension or canceller module. Frame and chassis is the same. KW has new suspension kits for NON DDC MINIs and I think its the same suspension just a DDC canceler module. My bet is it will fit with DDC MINIs. But I dont know what happens when the wire plugs are disconnected above the struts, I imagine there will be a screen error I am sure someone will figure out through NCS expert how to code this out.

BTW Pedro still have scooter ? Nice MINI.

Just wondering - if the JCW suspension does throw an error on a DDC car and I decide to do the KW DDC coilovers with my DDC-equipped F56, would the KW coilovers also dynamically adjust stiffness based on whether I have the car in normal or Sport mode? Or would the stiffness of the KW coilovers be statically set, regardless of which mode I am driving in?

That's what I am think when you disconnect the DDC ( with JCW ) it might throw an error. The KW is a DDC canceler module I believe with DDC cars. They are static, but manually adjustable still.

Ahh ok - so it just tricks the car into thinking it is still connected. I assume manually adjustable as in easily accessible **** under the hood to dial in tightness? Or do you have to jack the car up to tweak it?

Welcome, same on the fronts as other KW V1 etc, on the rear the KW have separate spring and strut as the factory suspension set up on the rear changed with the F56. So adjustment on the rear might be a little different but should be reachable,

Thanks for the info! I did just talk to my MA at the dealership and he said he believes there is a part number for the JCW Suspension for cars equipped with the DDC. He didn't have the part number but was going to check (not sure if you have any way to search for it?). If it does exist, I would assume it probably includes a DDC canceler like you were referring to.

Welcome, did not see JCW one for with DDC, and it did not say anything on the press release for the US market.

That's what I am afraid of... Sucks that they got rid of the sport suspension too :(. If I can't get the JCW Suspension, I might just stick with the DDC and investigate lowering and stiffening options that work with the DDC. Someone told me to just look into lowering springs and a rear sway bar for now... Not sure if you can just stick any springs on the DDC or not though...

My F55 has DDC, does this mean I cannot upgrade the shocks?? I plan on getting the front and maybe the rear diffusers

JCW suspension installed

Got the car back today after having the JCW suspension kit installed. I had the dealer set the suspension to its lowest setting. Here is a before and after pic.

Car feels a lot stiffer now! My wife hates the ride now but I love it! :-)

MINUSA shows the JCW suspensions as not available for the regular F56 Cooper (non-S)... but you said the chassis and frame are identical.

What gives? Any news on this?

In the US the 33502361197 shows for the Cooper S, but in Europe its shows for the Cooper and SD. The frames are the same mostly, chassis its different sway bars and springs by part #, all I can think of is the weight for the springs. I sure someone will try to fit this to a Cooper soon. As the front end would be a little lighter. All the other aftermarket suspensions we carry fit Cooper and Cooper S.

So you think it's mostly a regulatory or marketing issue here in the US vs Europe?

Would there be any issues with warranty if I went ahead and installed this on a Cooper?
