18" cone spoke tire size?

Does anyone know the sizes of the front and rear tires on the 18" cone spoke wheels?

I plan to switch immediately to Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (if they have a compatible size). It would be nice to have the tires ready upon delivery of the car.

I was unable to find this info on the forum or the miniusa.com site, even in the specifications section.

Mrdi, I will have Fix-A-Flat in the trunk and a AAA card in the glovebox and hope for the best.

I see the USA configurator says 225/45R18, but maybe that is a mistake - it looks very odd when compared to the 15", 16" and 17" tire sizes. They all deliver about the same outside diameter (24.0", 24.4", 24.3" respectively) so it seems odd that the 18" tire then goes off the charts at 26.0".

In the 2nd generation cars, the 18" tire size is 205/40R18 (24.5") and so it seems likely that this will be the 3rd generation 18" tire size too - all the 15"-17" tire sizes are the same on the 2nd and 3rd generation.

Maybe a call to the dealer will sort it out.

Many discussions about that, run flats vs non run flats. I carry a donut space saver in the back for long trips and a plug/compressor kit with slime, tow truck etc... Is not the end of the world lol I'll do anything NOT to run the run craps.

Thanks for the info, everyone. By the way, I LOVE the JCW wheels, plan to purchase them next year and paint all the silver areas white to match my top and mirrors.
