F55/F56 Dash Panel Removal, Fog Lamps Install
Dash Panel Removal, Fog Lamps Install
Does anyone have any experience / tips for the removal of interior dash panels. I'm installing some PIAA fog lamps and I at least need to remove the underside of the drivers side panel to do some wiring from what I can tell. I may also need to remove some panels to get access to the fuses behind the glove box if I want to have them switched with the ignition.
The experience of others would be greatly appreciated - so I don't bust something!

For the driver's side, it appears to just pull out with some force - see this thread with some pics: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-swap-out.html
For the fuse box, it appears to drop down from once a tab is released - see this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-fuse-box.html
Please share some pics and thoughts once you've installed the lights! This is my next mod, and I'll be using the PIAA lighting kit as well. I saw that the CravenSpeed instructions show the on/off switch mounted upside down on the lower bolster. I was thinking of mounting it to the side of the dash in the wider space between the door and the dash just to the left of the light switch (PIAA switch would face toward the door).

I had my PIAA’s installed by Chris from AutoWerks in Middletown, NJ and he used my OEM Foglight Switch to turn on/off the lights. He clearly did an amazing job! Also, HIGHLY RECOMMEND CravenSpeed setup! The 5” LED lights with the mounts are a breeze to deal with. Enjoy, Jose
That is correct my friend. The PIAA switch is crappy looking, Chris suggested that he could do it and make it work and bingo it was done! My ‘15 F56 JCW had the same setup and I couldn’t be happier! Hopefully the new owner of the ‘15 knows how to use it. Enjoy, Jose
