No heat - Integrated Valve in T-Stat or? I seem 2B missing something
2015 F56 Auto, no codes being thrown, no drivability issues.
Car will warm up w/in standard timelines expected and get to "OK" w/in about 5-6 min of driving.
Valve for changing air location works, will divert to center, foot, windscreen as expected. There is a very light difference in heat ( only really felt by the back of the hand as if you were checking a baby bottle ) between the drivers and pass side dash vents.
I'd think that the T-Stat is working as required, ( no over heating or staying cold ) but is there a heater control valve that allows for coolant to be diverted to the heater core? I've checked the parts guide and seem to be coming up empty handed...
Any thoughts would be great, the seat heaters are getting a hell of a workout and we'd like to see about getting the rest of the car warm other then our tail ends!

I'm having a very similar issue: I only get heat when I turn the temperature to max (84 degrees on the digital display). Even one click down to 82 degrees and it starts to blow pretty cold. My thought right now is that I need to replace the thermostat, but then again the car warms to "ok" within 5-6 minutes. Also thinking that maybe the blend door is stuck or blend door actuator malfunctioning?
Is your coolant level good? I just had a simialr situation where I would get little to no heat ended up coolant was low due to leaking water pump. Replaced the pump and all is good now.
FYI Thermostat comes as part of teh water pump/AC/Alternator bracket. I have not seen it listed anywhere seperately.

On the face lift 2nd Gen and 3rd gen MINI's the efficiency of engine to get to operating temp is primary, your cabin heat is secondary...
MINI has programmed the system not to supply heat to the cabin until the engine is up to temp to keep "dangerous" emissions down while providing the best fuel economy numbers so BMW is in compliance with Federal Cafe' Standard in order to keep producing big honkin gas guzzlin BMW's for the 1%'rs.
Why they will never give up the MINI brand...it balances out their BMW product line, but sucks for defrosting your windshield....

After testing a few things out myself and running out of talent, I took mine to a local independent mechanic. He wasn't able to find anything wrong with the heating system either. Thermostat good, water pump good, electronics good, blend doors good. Strangely enough, we found that if I use the Automatic climate control function, the temp seems to be more along the lines of what I'd consider normal, so that's what I'll probably be doing in the future.
I’ve been having an issue in the winter where the engine coolant temp does not get above 165-170 degrees F. The dash says this is full temp however the car is supposed to run about 220 degrees. I thought this was caused by the thermostat so I replaced that. Still no change. Any other ideas what could be causing this?

Sorry to comment on such an old post, but did you ever get a resolution to this? My F56 is having similar issues. No drivability problems and coolant was completely full last I checked. No lights or anything either. I get heat but inconsistent and decently weak compared to how it should be.
You’re all good mate. Thanks for responding anyway, I appreciate it.
