The supercharger produces MUCH more heat at high RPM than it does when cruising. I highly doubt you'd do any damage to the supercharger if you ran the bypass closed all the time. The times when it's making lots of heat, it's closed anyway.

BTW, have you sent the package back to me yet?

Are you serious? Please send it ASAP, I need it back. Just make sure it's a trackable method, ground is fine. I sent that very expensive piece of equipment to you at my expense for you to use in your testing. The least you can do is pay a few dollars to send it back.

Just make sure it's trackable and please send me the tracking number. Hundreds of dollars.

I have to say that it is REALLY rude of you not to send him back his equipment promptly - whats it been, a MONTH since you said it was going out, and it was loaned to you at no cost?? Don't you have respect for his property and time?

I knew I'd regret it the moment it happened:

Andy volunteered his equipment for the AGS dyno and I accepted his offer. The first download didn't work. Andy couldn't be contacted so I had to work with his partner to get it to run on my laptop. When it was hooked up, all it could do was "download" data into a text file. No graphs, numbers, AIT, coolant temp, nothing I could see during a dyno run. His partner understood the shortcomings of this Beta version. Not much use when we needed real time data to best even the playing field. We resorted to using the Auterra. After the dyno run completetion was announced, Andy gets upset his equipment wasn't used and immediately demand that I send it back. I asked for his carrier's tag number and he stated that their company does not cover that. I will have to send it back at my expense and he wants this "very expensive" equipment tracked. Huh... Tell me why I'm suppose to be grateful?

I'll get it shipped out as soon as I can. That's all I can do.

Since this thread has changed into a conversation between two parties that is best left to PMs and the original content has been deleted by the original posters, I'm going to give it the ol' before it starts drawing spectators or getting nasty.
