F55/F56 Need some guidance

Need some guidance
So the wastegate in my 15 F56 2.0L went out and I’m in need of a turbo.
i few things cross my mind, such as if a JCW turbo is bigger then mine and if so will it just fit right up no issues?
Or do I get a completely different turbo that’s an upgrade from the current one? What’s involved with making everything CA complaint or at least no CEL.
Or do I look into having this current turbo rebuilt, if it’s possible?
any help would be appreciated everyone. thanks!
